We are located in Mt.Airy, NC about 5 & 1/2 west of VA Beach. We encourage you to come to us to pick up we can normally deliver 1/2 way for $100. We can deliver to VA Beach for $200. Transport is on hold due to vehicle issues. This pup was born to a basset hound lab mix mom. She was born 7-1-22. This pup is shy at first. She warms up great though. This pup likes cats and loves other dogs. We have started crate training and potty training. This pup will go home current on vaccines and preventives and microchipped. She is spayed and heartworm tested(negative).This pup will receive a certificate of health issued by our vet prior to transport. The adopter will get all health records with adoption. Before my husband got cancer and started chemo, we would take Bolt to the trails and dog park. We would walk 2 miles in the woods and at first he did pull on the leash but after half a mile he would calm down, after our walk we would bring him in with the other dogs, he would rather play chase with the other dogs then chase a ball, he likes to get the attention of big dogs to run around, and little barky dogs like chihuahuas he would bug them and the 9 lb dog would chase him. He has a lot of energy but if we brought him home after he would relax with a bone or sit between me and my wife on the couch. He is not perfect, he does jump and he likes to chase our cats, if he corners one he doesn't bite he just smells them because bolt loves every one. If dogs are not running at the park he will bark at their face and bother them. since my husband started chemo we let him out back in the morning and he stays in his room just fine during the day till the afternoon we let him out at night.

She’s good with other dogs and loves the company of other dogs as well. She would do best in a home without kids. She’s a low maintenance dog. Doggie beds are her favorite and she does not require being crated, but she will go in a crate if needed. If your looking for a companion, Willow is your girl!
