Story
Tony is definitely a survivor. He takes the hits life keeps throwing at him, and his good buddy, Diamond, and just keeps going and making the most of each day!Tony and Diamond were left to fend in a yard after their owners split up. Not surprisingly, they endured the elements and each turned out to be heartworm positive, along with some skin issues. A wonderful rural rescue got them and cared for them until we were able to take them. While at the rural shelter, they just didn't understand what was happening to them. The people would come each day to find them shaking - as they didn't know what was next for them.Since they have been with us, they have gotten medical treatment, food, beds and lots and lots of love! And, oh, what a difference it has made for them! You can almost see them relax, day by day! Tony's personality is shining through and, even though he is 7-years-old, he has the energy of a much younger dog! He's just happy - all the time!Tony and Diamond seem so grateful to have found a soft spot to land while they each wait for their forever homes. Please SHARE their story or come meet them! You will see what resilience looks like!Interested? Come for a visit any day of the week - 365 days a year between 9am - 12pm. Hope to see you soon!PLEASE NOTE: Animal Aid Society observes a 40 mile adoption radius to facilitate post adoption support and follow ups.

Story
What's sweeter than sweet? THAT'S the word I need to describe Naomi! She is a wonderful, affectionate, cuddly, calm, friendly, gentle, sometimes goofy, always loving girl. Naomi adores humans of all ages, and is fabulous with other dogs -- come to Animal Aid, and you'll see her hanging out with Betty White, a blind and deaf Pitbull, in our front yard! Naomi was adopted and returned through NO fault of her own -- she was a terrific houseguest and did great with the other dog in the home. The adopter experienced a change in life circumstances and had to return her. Naomi is a healthy, joyful pup! She has had seizures in the past, but they are completely managed with two pills per day (pills she happily gobbles up with some canned food or cheese).Interested? Come for a visit any day of the week - 365 days a year between 9am - 12pm. Hope to see you soon!PLEASE NOTE: Animal Aid Society observes a 40 mile adoption radius to facilitate post adoption support and follow ups.
