Please note this dog is NOT an official Underdog dog, and you will be connected with the person who has the dog. Please Contact Jen, 480-658-4148, jen.guthrie86@gmail.com:   MEET DAVEY!! Davey is an incredibly smart, loyal, and eager to please. He is in perfect health, but he does have some anxiety. He is a retired service dog, so he is well-trained. He is leash trained, crate trained, house trained and knows a wide variety of commands. He likes to play with toys and be with his people. Davey has been with his current home since he was 10 months old. With the new baby in the home, he is showing some aggression. He would do best in a child-free and dog-free home. His owners are saddened, but they want Davey to find the best home for him. Meet Davey today! If you are interested in meeting this dog, please visit our website for our online application www.underdogaz.com  PLEASE NOTE: This dog is courtesy posted for another individual or Rescue. Story
Hi, I`m Alice! I am a senior beagle that found myself at the animal shelter. Nice friends from Arizona Beagle Rescue scooped me up, got me to the vet, now I`m back to taking my medicine (I`m a diabetic, you see, but tolerate my shots very well!). I am very happy with my foster mom and doggie siblings, but I am still looking for a home of my own. Do you think you might be that home?Luv,Alice

Story
Meet Lucky Love, a five-month-old mystery mix who looks like a large beagle and has the personality to match. At over 40 pounds and growing, Lucky blends the best of both worlds — the playful energy of a puppy and the sweetness of an old soul. He’s incredibly affectionate and intelligent, eager to learn and quick to listen. Lucky adores his foster family — especially the kids (ages 10 and 8 — and loves playing with the family’s other dog. He’s fully potty trained with a doggy door.Of course, he’s still a puppy at heart — he barks, digs, chews, and tests the limits of countertop temptation — but his gentle nature and eagerness to please make him a dream companion. Whether he’s snuggled up in the office or romping in the yard, Lucky radiates warmth, joy, and unconditional love.We gave him the middle name Love because, simply put, that’s what he is. Such a love bug.If you are interested in adopting Lucky Love, please fill out an application: https://azbeaglerescue.com/adopt/adoption-processThank you!

Story
Meet Bear! Bear is a tri-color beagle mix (possibly part lab?) who is being surrendered for adoption due to the health of his owner (owner`s health does not allow her to keep up with his high energy needs). Bear is a very active young many who loves to play, great with older kids (he is great with all kids, loves to lay with kids and play with them but his high energy might overwhelm some young kids). Bear is SMART. He knows lots of commands, is crate trained, and if he`s not running/walking/playing with his people he will lay on the couch and nap. Typical beagle, Bear will bark and does jump when people first come home (calms quickly), but Bear does think he can be a student... if the human kids get to go to school, why can`t he? Bear hasn`t figured out the `writing` part of being a student yet, he chews the pencils instead. It is unknown how Bear does with cats. His favorite treats are scrambled eggs, cucumber, and bananas! Oh, in the Arizona summer I bet those cucumbers taste amazing!

Story
Meet Freddie, a five-year-old, 56-pound Beagle mix with the classic coloring and sturdy build of a Beagle, but the frame of a larger breed. Freddie is looking for a special, understanding forever home after a couple of mismatched adoptions. While he's sweet and loving with his people, Freddie is dog-reactive and should be the only pet in the household. He isn’t suited for dog parks or social outings involving other pets and would thrive in a calm environment with a predictable routine. Freddie can also be protective on the leash and would do best in a quieter neighborhood or with access to peaceful walking areas. Despite these sensitivities, he is a low-key companion who prefers the simple pleasure of being near his person over high-energy play. Freddie doesn’t ask for much—just a little space, some quiet, and someone willing to accept his boundaries and give him love. Freddie’s $250adoption fee includes neutering, vaccinations, microchipping, and a complimentary wellness exam at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Ready to meet this gentle soul? Please don't hesitate to schedule an appointment to meet Freddie by calling 602-971-1334. You can also visit us Thursday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm when we are open for walk-ins.
