Splotch is looking for a loving home! Here's what his foster has to say about him: "Splotch is the sweetest, gentlest dog I’ve ever met. He is a great cuddler, loves walks, and is a good running buddy. He’s doing great learning basic commands. He’d probably be great with children and with another dog since he doesn’t like being alone." He is still working on crate training and can get a little anxious when he's alone, but he is also a quick learner so with some time and attention, he should settle! Come meet me at High Country Humane Main Campus, located at 11665 N. Highway 89, Flagstaff, AZ 86004. Our shelter is open Thursday–Tuesday, 11am–5pm, and closed on Wednesdays. Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is already spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (we register it for FREE). Each adoption also includes a free health exam, and a small bag of their kibble. Please bring a leash and collar with you or plan to purchase them here. We can’t wait to help you meet your new furry friend!

Abigail is about 4 months old (DOB 7/1/26), spayed, up-to-date on vaccines. She is described by her owner as a beagle mix who is easy-going, friendly, happy, goofy. She loves attention and is very sweet and affectionate. Abigail is a great dog but unfortunately the resident senior Chihuahua is not a fan of sharing the house and has bit Abigail multiple times. She travels well in the car, has been exposed to crate training (but not fully crate trained), is house broken, loves to walk, loves to chew on things, and plays with the neighbor`s dogs daily! She has not been around cats, but is good with kids 3+ years old (has not been around younger kids). She will lick kids` faces and wag her tail. She can be a little hesitant of new people at first but warms up when the adults approach her.While we are sad that she needs to be rehomed, we appreciate her owner`s dedication in ensuring the senior dog remains in the home he has known and recognizes that it is best for Abigail if she gets a new home with people (and maybe other dogs) that love her without biting her :-).

Cooper is a registered AKC beagle and a good boy. He needs a loving home without any other animals. He is a beagle that loves to express himself through barking. He has been good with kids as long as his space is respected. He is not the kind of beagle that lets anyone pet him. He has never bitten a human. We purchased him from a breeder at 12 weeks, he has been with us since. We love him dearly and would not be willing to give him up if we didn’t have two other dogs. Cooper needs space to run, he gets the zoomies and loves to burn off energy. He knows to sit, he catches treats out of the air, and loves to play. We are only willing to share him with the right home and family.
