Story
Hi, I`m Billie.I am a senior beagle boy looking for a new home. I`ve grown up with a whole pack of beagles, but my humans had some changes in life that meant my canine siblings and me all ended up with beagle rescues to find new homes. My foster mom says I`m good with other dogs and love walking with my human and canine friends. I am sometimes a little timid around new people (such as workers that come into the house), but a quick offer of a treat and you`re my best friend for life! I am not a fan of the kennel/crate, but I am very trustworthy in the house, so you don`t have to worry leaving me in the house for a few hours. I love riding in the car as well as walking on the leash. I don`t play with toys (I am a senior, after all). Would love to meet you and see if I can join your family. If you`re interested in meeting me, please fill out an application at https://azbeaglerescue.com/adopt/adoption-processIf you are already an approved adopter, please contact directors@azbeaglerescue.org and give them my name!Luv,Billie

Story
Milo is a 3-1/2 year old Beagle who joined us when his owner could no longer care for him. This handsome boy is now looking for a new forever home. This boy is a classic Beagle who is easy to handle, loves a good game of fetch, and must sniff and inspect all things! He knows basic commands such as sit and paw. He's a food motivated, champion puzzle solver! To get started on the adoption process, visit https://azfriends.org/testing/adopt.html to complete an adoption consultation form, and then stop by the Adoption Center to meet with one of our adoption counselors. Or you can just come and see us and fill out a consultation form upon arrival! No appointments are necessary and you can come and see us any time we are open. Please go to our website (www.azfriends.org) to fill out a consultation form then come and see us! We do require any family interested in meeting our dogs or cats to fill out a consultation form – this form helps us determine if the dog/cat and the home are a good match, since it is so easy to fall in love with a photo, without knowing the personality of the animal. Once you have filled out the online Adoption Consultation Form, just come in and see us (or come and see us and fill out the consultation form upon arrival)! Please note that ALL dogs and cats are available to the first home that meets the dog or cat that we feel is a good match. In order to help make the best match, we do want all family members (dogs and humans) to meet any potential new family member. Our adoption center hours are: Closed Sunday/Monday; Tuesday 10a-2p, Wednesday 3p-7p, Thursday 3p-7p, Friday 10a-2p, Saturday 10a-4p. We are located at 952 W Melody Avenue in Gilbert (zip code 85233).All animals are altered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, licensed (dogs). Cats tested for FELV/FIV. Dogs tested for Heartworm. All animals are available to the first family that is a good match, and if we have more than one animal who is a good match, there will be a lottery for all matches. Note that families must have come in to our adoption center and spoken with an adoption counselor prior to any lottery (when we have lotteries, they usually occur on Saturday mornings).

Story
Mila is 5 years old, a cuddle monster. Would choose to sit on someones lap being cuddled, over anything else. She sleeps under covers and will whimper until you cover her up. Mila will be best suited for someone with a fenced in yard and no other pets. She can and has acclimated to other pets but she would prefer to be the center of attention. She is a smart, loving dog and it kills us to part with her, I am hoping to find a caring forever home for her.

Story
🐾 Looking for a Loving Home for Buddy 🐾 adoption fee of 50$ Hi everyone, I’m hoping to find a wonderful new home for a very special dog named Buddy. He’s an 8-year-old beagle/hound mix with a sweet, goofy personality and so much love to give. 💛 Buddy is: Neutered Up to date on all vaccinations( have all vet records to give ) No major issues ( allergy to chicken) Funny Love to play with toys Loves being outside or curled up in his dog bed sleepingThe only thing to note is that Buddy does have an allergy to chicken, so he’ll need a chicken-free diet.Buddy is free to the right home and will come with his kennel, dog bowl, and leash as well as toys to help make the transition easier. Buddy has lived with cats and other dogs also has been around children as young as 1 years old. Buddy is crate trained, house trained, potty trained, and leashed trained. His favorite activity is going on car rides and walks.

Story
Meet Buddy 🐾 Buddy is an 8-year-old Beagle who has been a deeply loved member of my family. True to his breed, he’s full of personality—so much so that it often feels like you can have full conversations with him. He’s affectionate, loyal, and absolutely loves to cuddle. Due to some unexpected hardships, I’m faced with the incredibly difficult decision to find Buddy a new home. This is truly heartbreaking, and I’m hoping to find someone who will love and care for him just as much as I do. Buddy is house-trained, gets along well with other dogs, and thrives on companionship. Like many dogs, he can get a little mischievous if left uncrated while you’re away—he may chew on items left within reach—but with the right environment and attention, he does wonderfully. If you or someone you know can provide Buddy with a safe, loving home, please reach out. He deserves nothing less than a family who will cherish him as much as he deserves.
