Hi, I`m Billie.I am a senior beagle boy looking for a new home. I`ve grown up with a whole pack of beagles, but my humans had some changes in life that meant my canine siblings and me all ended up with beagle rescues to find new homes. My foster mom says I`m good with other dogs and love walking with my human and canine friends. I am sometimes a little timid around new people (such as workers that come into the house), but a quick offer of a treat and you`re my best friend for life! I am not a fan of the kennel/crate, but I am very trustworthy in the house, so you don`t have to worry leaving me in the house for a few hours. I love riding in the car as well as walking on the leash. I don`t play with toys (I am a senior, after all). This is Axel. He’s my sweet foster from the shelter and is looking for a forever home. He’s older, so he’s pretty lazy, but he enjoys a fun walk, barks at passers by like most dachshunds and snoozes in his spot. He loves dog bones and cuddles. He has allergies, so he will require daily medication for his itches. I give him Zyrtec. He loves my dog, but I recommend slow introductions. I also feel like he would be good without other dogs in the house. He’s good at adapting. I feel like he prefers females, but I know a man could earn his love easily too. Axel has preferred my husband since day one! He’s a lover! I also recommend a house with older children. Little kids make him anxious. I have loved having Axel in my house and know you will love having him too!

Lola is such a sweet , quiet girl. We just got her from another rescue since her owner moved and couldn't keep her. She really doesn't need the other dogs.She just likes to sniff around the yard or go for a walk and sniff. She likes to jump up and be petted when you're sitting down.But she doesn't like to be held necessarily. She just had a dental and got spayed recently , and she is ready for adoption! She is ok in a kennel but she prefers the door open. She can be closed in for short amounts of time. She seems good about going potty outside?But she will have to learn your situation.
