'Colby' Beagle/Spaniel X, male, 5 yr old, 27 lbs'Colby' Spaniel/Beagle Mix - Male 5 years - 27 lbsColby is an adorable 27 pound beagle mix that was hit by a car in Mexico and left to die on the side of the road. He was rescued by us and brought to the USA. We have had this little sweety in the rescue for a time now and are looking for the right home or a foster. He is good with other dogs and loves to play. He has a cart and drag bag. He does need his bladder expressed but we can teach you how to do that. He is NOT totally paraplegic (see video) but mostly. So he still wears a diaper/belly band when inside. But outside in the dog yard he plays and 'stumbles' about. But boy can he move!  Our adoption fee through our rescue covers the dog being fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered, dewormed and flea treated. Story
Matilda is a sweet tricolor Beagle. Her approximate age is 5 years old. She’s on the smaller side, weights 24lbs. She was in a rough shape when we took her in but she’s all good now. Looks like she was used for breeding. We were told that she was an outdoor dog, so she’s not potty/house trained. She’s now crate trained, she sleep indoors in her crate at night. We didn’t receive much explanations as of why they surrendered her, just that they couldn’t keep her anymore. Anyway, what matters now is that Matilda needs a loving forever home! She’d love a nice couch to lay on with her people, she’s a sweet girl, she’s full of life and active/playful. She’s ok with other dogs and loving with her people, unknown about cats. A Beagle experienced family would be amazing! Included with adoption: - Vet wellness exam - Vaccinations up to date (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies) - Rabies Certificate - Fecal test: Negative results - FLEX4 test: Negative results for Heartworm, Anaplasma and Lyme. Positive result for Ehrlichia - Medication to treat Ehrlichia (1 month of Doxycycline pills) - Heartworm/Flea/Tick/Worm preventive given up to date (Simparica Trio) - Microchip with prepaid lifetime enrollment (AKC reunite) - Spay surgery - Dental + 1 tooth extraction - Leash and collar with microchip ID collar tag - Adoption contract - Some of her current food Matilda is ready to be adopted, she’s currently taking antibiotics, we’d provide her remaining meds if she gets adopter prior to finishing her treatment. Pick up would be in San Diego, CA. Transportation could be arranged to the right home, if needed. Eddy is a very playful and friendly guy who loves to play and run all day long. he has a lot of energy. He likes to jump and climb things, play with ropes and balls, sunbathe in the afternoons. He can be a bit naughty and effusive, however, eddy is a loving and cuddly boy who loves to receive affection and to have your attention. He is the ideal playmate for children. At first he can be a little shy and distrustful, but he just needs time to adapt to his new home and show his true personality. He has no problem with cats or dogs. He is used to live with many dogs and eat with them. He is not very noisy and does not howl. The $350.00 adoption fee covers the following: Transport to San Diego, CA. Spay/Neuter. All vaccines up to date. Deworming (puppies 2 sets). Flea medication up to date. Tick control up to date. Microchip. Microchip registration to new owner paid for. Collar. Temporary leash. About me: Hi, my name is Ruby! I'm 6 years old and mostly beagle (there was a tryst with a chihuahua somewhere in my lineage). I don't play fetch or tug-of-war, but I love watching TV and snuggling up next to my humans. I love going on walks and sniffing things outside! I'm great with kids and I enjoy being involved in everything that goes on. I'm house trained and crate trained, and I get along with cats. I live for treats and play wrestling with my best friend Skylar. Ruby's Story: We are Ruby's second family (previously she was with an elderly family member). She's such a loving dog that just wants to be by you all the time. As much as it pains us to do so, we've become her prison wardens more than her loving owners, and we want her to spend her years with a family who will provide her with lots of opportunities to smell new things and give her lots of cuddles.
