She is a sweet young puppy born to Mama Oreo - while her siblings Cupcake and Biscuit have been adopted, Jellybean is still patiently waiting. She is described by staff as being super confident, energetic, and playful! She isn't afraid to explore new areas and is always ready for an adventure. She is the tallest of her siblings. As of November, she is around 2-months-old and weighs around 15lbs. Mama was listed at the shelter as a Beagle/Dachshund mix - we're not sure who dad is, but babies may be a mix of Beagle x Terrier. ##2558725##

Oreo is a beautiful young mama that gave birth to three healthy babies! She was rescued from the Calexico shelter where they had her listed as a Beagle/Dachshund mix. We're not sure how old she is but we are guestimating that she is somewhere between 1-3yo. Testimonial from Oreo's foster family - "Oreo enjoys spending time by your side. If you sit down to watch TV, read, or just watch TikTok's, she enjoys it as much as you do. Oreo likes the company of other dogs, and gets along best with male dogs. She also gets along well with females, but she gets along better with males. Oreo lives with cats without any problem. Oreo is in a rehabilitation process since we assume she was mistreated in her previous home before ending up in the shelter system. Oreo can be afraid of sudden movements and is learning to recognize that she's not in danger anymore. Oreo is learning to walk on a leash. It will be a longer process to master it because of her life story. Oreo enjoys quiet and cozy places. She loves to play and bounce around, once she gains confidence. She has recovered :) She has been under our Wellness program and is in great condition now and ready for her forever home.
