Story
Pepe is approximately one year of age, around 22 pounds, neutered and fully vaccinated beagle mix. He is potty & crate trained but still learning how to walk on leash. He is extremely loving, sociable and playful. Pepe gets along well with other dogs, adults and children alike. Given his young age he should be able to learn your family’s routine rather quickly and become part of the gang in no time!!! Pepe lived on TJ streets and in doorways for months. But was in precarious situations moving place to place so FHSTJ intervened in February 2024. Pepe has a lot of love to give and longs for a family who can provide him with the affection and attention he craves. He deserves a warm and loving home where he can feel cherished as a member of the family!!!

Story
Sparky is a handsome and energetic 2yo Red/White Beagle, his original family was going through some personal issues and weren’t able to keep him we were told. He’s active, very friendly with people and overall a happy boy. He gets along well with our other dogs, specially with the females, as he was living with another female Beagle. He comes from a home where there were kids and we were told that he was good with them. He was kept indoors when he was a puppy and then outdoors when he was an adult. The parents in the home worked all day so they couldn’t keep him indoors not being supervised. We’ve started crate training to sleep indoors and he’s doing good so far. So yes, he’ll need some training to become a good indoor pet. Sparky is already fully vetted and ready to be adopted. If interested in adopting Sparky feel free to fill out an application through our application link. Included with adoption: - Vet wellness exam - Vaccinations up to date (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies) - Rabies certificate - Deworming up to date - Fecal test (Negative) - FLEX4 test (Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Anaplasma and Lyme) - (Negative) - Heartworm/Flea/tick preventive given up to date (Simparica Trio) - Microchip with lifetime enrollment (AKC reunite) - Neuter surgery - Dental cleaning - Leash and collar - Adoption contract - Some of his current food Pick up is in San Diego, CA. Transportation could be arranged depending on distance. Our contact email is: cabeaglesrescues@gmail.com

Story
Chase is a 3yo red/white Beagle. His current weight is about 45lbs. He is a strong and muscular boy. He’s active and energetic. His family surrendered him because they no longer had enough time to properly care for him. We were told that he’s good with kids, cats and house/crate trained. He’s been doing good with our other dogs here as well. He pulls on walks so his adopter will need to work with him to leash train him. Chase is now fully vetted and ready to be adopted. Story
This puppy is a tricolor purebred Beagle. His DOB is 12/31/2023. He was the runt from his litter, our guess is that he’ll be 25lbs or less at full grown. He had a limp on his back legs when he was smaller, we think that it was a slow development issue because he was very small since he was born, he was about the half of the size compared to his other 2 siblings in the litter. So we kept this puppy longer to follow up on his progress. He’s now almost 4 months old and is doing great! He’s very playful, he runs fast (the limp slowed him down when he was a smaller puppy) and he’s overall healthy. He’s not housebroken, he’s been kept indoors only with potty pads, we have adult dogs in our yard areas and we were afraid that they’d play rough with him and possibly hurt him and make it worse. We took him to our Vet at 8 weeks old, and took him to other 2 follow up Vet checks after (at 11 and 14 weeks old). On his last Vet check our Vet and I discussed that he’s had lots of improvement which is a good sign, he thinks that he’ll be ok and have a normal life, he only recommended to have X-rays done once he turns 6 months old, to make sure all looks good. Even though we think that this puppy will have a normal development at full grown due to his huge improvement, we’d like to place him in a family that would still be willing to keep him in case he ends up being a special needs dog, since at this point is too soon to tell 100% for sure that he’ll have a normal development. Included with the puppy’s adoption: - Vet records (3 Vet checks done) - Vaccinations up to date (3 sets of DHPP and 1 Bordetella). He needs 1 more DHPP and Rabies in 2 more weeks to complete his immunization. (We’ll have them done if we still have him by then.) - Dewormed up to date (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14 weeks old) - Fecal test - Heartworm/Flea/Tick prevention (Simparica Trio) - Would start after he receive all his vaccines* - DNA/Health test results (Embark) - Microchipped with lifetime enrollment (AKC reunite) - AKC paperwork (optional) - Puppy collar with microchip ID - Puppy toy - Puppy blanket - Adoption contract - Some of his current puppy kibble As a side note, we neuter our dogs no sooner than 6 months old, so he’s not neutered yet. It will be required to get him neutered once he’s old enough. Pick up location: San Diego, CA. Transportation is also available depending on distance. If interested in adopting this puppy feel free to fill out an application through our application link. cabeaglesrescues@gmail.com

Story
Coco is a lemon Beagle girl with blue eyes. We were told that she’s 3yo. She’s on the smaller side, weights about 30lbs (she’s a bit chubby, with her ideal weight, she should be about 25lbs) and is probably 13” tall. The surrender reason was because her original owners couldn’t keep her longer due to financial reasons. She’s good with people and other dogs. We were told that there were kids in her previous home and that she was good with them as well, we don’t have any here, nor cats to test her though. She was an outdoor pet so she’ll need some training to become a good indoor pet. We have started crate training to sleep indoors at night and she does great. When she’s in our livingroom all she wants to do is to lay on a dog bed or on the couch, she’s a mellow girl that definitely loves being indoors and receive cuddles. Included with adoption: - Vet wellness exam - Vaccinations up to date (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies) - Rabies certificate - Deworming up to date - Fecal test (pending results) - FLEX4 test (Heartworm, Ehrlichia, Anaplasma and Lyme) (pending results) - Heartworm/Flea/tick preventive given up to date (Simparica Trio) - Microchip with lifetime enrollment (AKC reunite) - Spay surgery - Dental cleaning - Leash and collar - Adoption contract - Some of her current food (dry kibble) As you can see, Coco has cherry eye in both eyes. Her cherry eye surgery costs is not included in the adoption fee. We’re planning to have it fixed before she’s adopted. She also has an inguinal hernia that we’re planning to fix along with her spay, cherry eye surgery and dental cleaning. We’re currently accepting donations to be able to afford her additional medical needs (cherry eye & hernia). Once we have the funds, we’ll schedule her to have her surgery done. Pick up is in San Diego, CA. Transportation could be arranged to the right home, depending on distance. Coco will hopefully be ready to be adopted in about 3 more weeks, depending on her surgery status.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Lovable, friendly, sweet puppy who loves to cuddle.Meet Izzy! This lovable, friendly and sweet Beagle mix loves to play and be held and snuggled by her humans. She is outgoing, loves playing with her littermates, and is confident and willing to approach humans for attention. Izzy was part of a litter that was rescued along with their mama, a small/medium beagle/terrier mix, in the desert in La Paz, BCS, Mexico. She was rescued when she was just a few weeks old, and grew up in a foster home with good vet care, food, and lots of love and attention. Her mama is a small/medium sized beagle/terrier mix around 30 lbs, and we think there is some Lab/Shar Pei in this litter from the dad's side. Izzy is sterilized, vaccinated and ready to find her forever family! Meet Izzy in person!
