Story
Mia's owners were arrested and she spent 37 days locked in a bedroom until help arrived. She was left with trauma and needs a patient person to help her heal. Mia is a special needs sweetheart who deserves to spend the rest of her life surrounded by love, patience, and freedom 💞 Because she’s deaf and currently cancer free, it’s important that she feels safe exploring her surroundings at her own pace. Mia is incredibly sweet, friendly, and loves being with her person 🥰 Her ideal home would include friendly and safe environment where she can freely roam, relax, and feel comfortable 💓

Story
Kaylee Kaylee is a 36-pound perfectly medium sized girl with a playful spirit and a curious nose. Born 8/7/2024, she was rescued from a high-risk shelter as a young puppy and has blossomed into a happy, social girl. She could be a beagle mix with some German Shepherd in her. She’s crate trained (no accidents!), walks nicely on leash, comes when called, and sits on command — currently working on “stay.” Kaylee loves to play with dogs twice her size, carry sticks proudly around the yard, and investigate all the interesting scents outside. After her adventures, she enjoys gentle pets on her head and face. Like many Beagle mixes, Kaylee is smart, affectionate, and loves to explore. She may be a little cautious at first, but she warms up quickly and is very friendly. She would thrive in an active home that enjoys walks, playtime, and letting her use that wonderful nose. Kaylee is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. 📍 Located in Bradenton, FL 💲 $300 adoption fee Apply to adopt at: www.love4pawsfl.org/adopt

Story
Meet Ethel – A Diamond in the Rough with a Heart of Gold! 📍 Currently in Bradenton, FL | 🐶 Applications: ewenityfarmsbch.com Ethel is one of 30+ dogs rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation — and while her past was filled with neglect, her future is full of possibility. She’s about 1–2 years old, and despite everything she’s been through, this little Beagle mix is gentle, sweet-natured, and incredibly resilient. Right now, Ethel is still a work in progress, but she's made tremendous strides with love and time: 🌟 PUPDATE 10/17: She's now housebroken, crate-trained, and uses a puppy door Walks short distances on leash Learning to seek out affection and even snuggles! Loves toys, other dogs, and is very food motivated Hair is growing back beautifully, and her soft spirit is starting to shine But Ethel still needs a very special kind of home — one with: ✔️ A fenced yard ✔️ At least one kind, confident dog to mentor her ✔️ People with patience, dog-savviness, and a heart for the underdog ✔️ A commitment to letting Ethel move at her own pace — not yours Ethel is still timid with new people and environments. She won’t be your walking buddy right away, and she’s not yet a dog you can parade through a busy neighborhood. But in the right home, with steady support and structure, she will continue to bloom. 💡 If you’ve worked with shy, unsocialized dogs before — or if you're a Beagle lover who understands the breed’s quirks and charm — Ethel could be your next great success story. Watching her come out of her shell has been nothing short of magical. She’s gone from frozen and fearful to curious and cuddly — and she’s so ready to take her next steps with a family of her own. 📝 Interested? Apply today at ewenityfarmsbch.com Let’s give this brave little girl the life she’s always deserved. ❤️

Story
Hello- my name is Wigglesworth! I was rescued from a testing facility where I was kept in a cage. I am just now learning what being a dog is supposed to be about. I am still quite shy, but do much better when there is another dog- so my rescue is requiring potential adopters to have a social/friendly dog in the household. I am estimated to be 2-3yrs old and weigh about 20lbs. I will need help with potty and leash training. The dog trainer here says I need to “learn to dog”- it is just going to take time and someone willing to be patient while I learn. My $650 adoption fee includes vet exam, bloodwork, up to date vaccines, neuter, deworming and preventatives while in our care, heartworm test (negative) and microchip. If you are interested in adopting me, please complete a free, non-binding application at www.gofar.dog under Adopt. If you have questions, email my rescue at adoptions@gofar.dog.
