Story
This sweet girl is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly! She loves going for walks, playing outside, and would absolutely thrive with another playful dog in the home. She gets along wonderfully with the larger dogs in her foster home and has a perfect medium energy level — happy to join you for adventures, then curl up beside you on the couch or in bed for snuggles. She is crate trained, nearly fully potty trained, and sleeps through the night like a champ. She’s still learning that the world isn’t so scary, so she can be vocal or unsure around strangers and other animals on walks, but she continues to improve with socialization.  She’s incredibly loving with her foster family and kids in the home, did great at the vet, and is quickly showing everyone what an amazing companion she’ll be! Story
Biscuit was born on August 11th, our friends had an accidental clutch. We took one of the puppies to help out and to introduce to our German Shepard to help manage her anxiety. It worked out great. Biscuit loves attention and she is very affectionate, as my kids got older they stop paying much attention to her. She always had accidents, but will have more if she doesn’t get enough attention or feels insecure in the pack. My family has changed and we can’t keep up with providing Biscuit with the kind of attention that she needs. I know she would flourish in another household that is less busy.

Story
Jack was adopted by my husband's sister. She passed away in March, so we took Jack in. We have a dog of our own which Jack gets along with great. My husband passed away last month, and I cannot care for multiple animals. Jack is current on his shots and city license and is heart worm negative.Jack is an extremely sweet dog and needs someone who can love him and care for him. I don't know how he gets along with cats but is great with other dogs and children. Jack loves to run and roll in the grass. Won't you be his forever family?

Story
Adoptable dog alert, meet Cookie! She's a Lemon Beagle with a charming white and red coat. She's about 6 years old and around 23 lbs. She's spayed and up-to-date on vaccines and monthly preventatives. About Cookie: - Good with kids 7+ - Needs fenced yard - Good with dogs, siblings optional - Hearworm positive, doing great with treatment Cookie was found covered in ticks and fleas, she's heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. All medication is provided to her adopter to continue her treatment. Ultimately her history is a mystery, but it's clear she was bred. We're happy to report that she's doing great with her heartworm treatment and is loving living the good life! Cookie is as as sweet as her name suggests. She's well behaved and adores her people. Her foster describers her as easy going and affectionate. She's doing great with house, potty, and leash training. When she's excited to see you she'll happily vocalizes to expresses herself instead of barking. At night she curls up in her cozy crate or stretches on her favorite dog bed. Cookie is a good little girl who's ready for her fur-ever family! She'd be happy to have doggie siblings or be a solo dog if you're around more often. She's good with kids, ages 7+, cats unknown. She needs a fenced yard to continue her potty training success. As Cookie is heartworm positive, her adopters will receive the heartworm medication she needs to complete her treatment as a part of her adoption. Learn more about Cookie and submit an adoption application through our site: https://www.fawnssmalldogrescue.org/adoptable-dogs/cookie Keep in mind the following when you apply: - Adoption radius is 150 miles from Jacksonville, FL, which includes parts of Georgia. - Each dog's adoption donation listed in their profile on our site. - All other pets in the home must be current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and on heartworm/flea/tick prevention.

Story
💕 Looking for the Perfect Forever Home for Sadie 💕 Years ago, we fostered Sadie from a shelter, and she quickly became part of our family. She deserves so much love, attention, and time—but with our work schedules and everything life has become, we’re simply not home enough to give her the life she deserves. This decision comes from love, not convenience. We want her to have a family where she can be spoiled, included, and enjoy the companionship she thrives on. 🐾 Sadie is looking for: • A loving, family • A home where someone is around more often • Lots of love, belly rubs, and a comfy place to nap We are committed to finding the right home—not just any home. We’d love to stay in touch if possible and make sure she’s going to people who will love her as much as we do.
