Story
Fresh out of the pan, everyone meet Dumpling We met this sweet, petite girl when we visited the shelter last week. She quickly rose to the top of our list for potential dogs to pull (it always takes us way too long to narrow this list down and it never gets easier), but she was still on a stray hold. Dumpling was found as a stray “covered in hundreds of ticks” and has likely been on her own for quite some time. We just couldn’t get her Disney eyes out of our head so when the shelter let us know her hold was up, the rest was history! She made her Swampie debut leisurely and with her nose to the ground, like only a true Beagle can Welcome to the good life, Dumpling! Story
He was found near the border of Mexico, alone on the streets and in rough shape — battling a horrendous infection in his nose and eyes. But even then, his tail still wagged. After a long journey of healing, care, and patience, Tucker is finally ready for a home of his own. We’re not entirely sure of his breed mix, but we are sure of this: Tucker is 100% adorable and absolutely ready to be someone’s best friend. He’s more into people than playgroups — he can coexist with other dogs, but his heart belongs to you. Tucker prefers human attention over doggy drama, and that’s just how he likes it. Cats? Not so much. He’s politely passing on those. You’ll often catch him tossing a ball in the air for himself, proudly parading his favorite toy around the yard, or trotting after you just to see what you’re up to. He’s smart, loyal, and oh-so-lovable. Tucker’s past wasn’t kind, but his future looks bright — and he’s ready to share it with someone who’ll love him like he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who lives to love you, Tucker’s your guy. Tucker is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped and his adoption fee is $325. Tucker is available for transport to St. Augustine, FL on December 20, 2025. The transport fee is $125 If you would like to add this cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) All age-appropriate vaccines Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, deworming Spay/neuter surgery Microchip

Story
Monet is a sweet little tenderhearted dog who is about 2 1/2 years old and weighs 24 pounds. She does have a warm-up period when meeting new people. Her family moved and left her behind. She kept having liters of puppies that did not survive, until we rescued her from the road. Coming from the environment she was in previously, it is apparent that she wasn’t handled very much so she just needs a few minutes to know that she is in a safe space. Once she knows you will be kind to her, she loves to get attention and affection. She gets along well with the other dogs at the rescue. She would do best in a calm and patient home where she can get acclimated to her new surroundings and learn to trust. She is a wonderful dog who just wants a family to call her own! Monet is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $325. Monet is available for transport to St. Augustine, FL on December 20, 2025. The transport fee is $125. If you would like to add this tender cutie to your family, please review our process and complete an application here - https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Services our dogs receive prior to adoption: Chagas Testing Heartworm and Tick Testing (age appropriate) All age-appropriate vaccines Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives Spay/neuter surgery Microchip *The breed(s) listed are guessed and based on the dog's physical appearance* Monet tested positive for Chagas disease and has started treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. For more information, please review here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas

Story
Delta is a strong-willed 6 year-old who weighs 48 pounds. She is like a Mack truck with short, stubby legs. She is stubborn and as strong as an ox. Think Basset Hound with a mystery twist- and a whole lot of charm. Delta was found on the streets of the Rio Grande Valley, with scars all over her body. She had a hard life which made her the tough dog that she is. She has an old hip injury that doesn't alter her ability to walk or run. She has been through a lot and is ready for her forever home. She will require a tough owner that is willing to train her and make her the best dog she can be. Are you just as stubborn and want things to go your way? If so, then Delta is the gal for you ! She is loving, but would do best in a home where she can be the only dog with her person. She told us she prefers to be spoiled and live her life in the AC on a couch without other dogs to bother her. She will keep you laughing with her crazy antics. She will give you endless loyalty, laughs and love. Delta has tested positive for Chagas disease and is doing great on Dr. Madigan's treatment. This is completely curable after treatment and dogs can go on to live long and happy lives. Our rescue is one of the first to do Chagas testing for all of the dogs in our care and is having measurable success in the treatment protocol. We are also focused on continued education and awareness of Chagas to help even more dogs. For more information, please review here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas She is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas. Her adoption fee is $325 and she is also available for transport to St. Augustine, FL on December 20, 2025. The transport fee is $125 Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives: • Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate) • All core vaccines (age-appropriate) • Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives • Regular Deworming • Spay/neuter surgery • Microchip **Breed listings are our best guess, based on appearance.** If you’d like to make this dog part of your family, please review our adoption process and complete an application here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/adopt Learn more about our rescue here: https://www.facebook.com/TracysPawsRescue Delta tested positive for Chagas disease and has already started treatment. With treatment, Chagas is fully curable, and dogs go on to live long, happy lives. Tracy’s Paws is one of the first rescues to test every dog for Chagas, and we’ve had measurable success with our treatment protocol. We are also committed to educating adopters and the public about Chagas so even more. Delta tested positive for heartworms and has been treated. Considering this pet for adoption?
