We have had Chip about a year and a half. We adopted him from a rehome listing on this site. I instantly fell in love with the picture of his face. His previous owner gave health issues as her reason for needing to let him go. My husband and I are both in our 70s..and now find ourselves with various health conditions that have made keeping up with Chip too difficult for us. He just turned 2 this week. Unfortunately he is outgrowing our fenced in backyard and needs to be somewhere that he has space to run outside for more exercise. He is playful and likes to chase his toys. He loves to chew on his chew toys and soft things, like pillows. He can be mischievous and grab your shoes or slippers when your not looking. He goes willingly into his crate when you need to go out and that is where he sleeps.

Hi, I'm This is Sparta! Yes, I know my name is a bit silly! My friends and I are from a hoarding case with around 28 dogs living in a small pen outdoors. We were all competing for resources in such a small space that we were fighting each other often and many of us are covered in scars from our time living there. We will all need some help learning how to live in a proper house, how to potty outside, how to walk on a leash. We didn't have a whole lot of interaction with people, so some of us are a bit shy, but we all want so badly to trust and be loved.
