We took Ernie in when he was still a puppy, his original families home was flooded from a hurricane. Ernie has been with only us, he will be 9 in July. Ernie is a lazy boy, lives his best life when he can go on slow walks to smell all the roses and sniff into the air. Ernie has always been around a busy home but I think the best new home for him would be a home that is a little calmer as the craziness that our home is seems to stress him out sometimes as he has gotten older.

Meet Stella Rose🌹 This sweet girl has come such a long way on her journey to becoming a brave, confident pup. Stella is what we call a “project dog,” meaning she’ll need a patient adopter willing to earn her trust—but the reward is truly something special. Stella thrives around other dogs and does wonderfully with cats. She’s especially happy when she has furry friends to guide her—she’s playful, cuddly, and finds comfort in their companionship. Food is also the way to her heart! She eats well and loves snacks, which we’re using to help build trust and confidence. Since arriving at her foster home, Stella has experienced many “firsts”—including her recent bath, which she handled like a champ! We’re continuing to work on helping her feel safe and secure in her crate. Stella will likely always need extra caution, as she can be a bit of a flight risk. She currently wears a no-slip harness (included with adoption) to help keep her safe. Her ideal home includes: 🐶 1–2 well-adjusted, friendly dogs 🏡 A secure, fenced yard 💛 Patient, understanding adult humans In just a couple of weeks with her foster, Stella has already made incredible progress. Hi, I’m Jasmine, and these are my eight beautiful puppies. Our journey hasn’t been the easiest—we came from a county shelter in Walker, Alabama. Places like that can be really tough for moms like me. There isn’t enough time, space, or care to properly raise our babies the way they deserve. But everything changed when we arrived at Big Dog Ranch. Now, we finally have a safe, temporary home where my puppies can grow strong and healthy. We’re receiving the medical care, love, and attention we’ve been missing, and I’m so grateful to have this time to truly nurture my little family. As a mom, that means everything to me. One day soon, when we’re ready, each of us will find a loving forever home—places where we’ll be safe, cherished, and never rushed or forgotten again.
