Story
Delight has big brown eyes that will melt your heart and a delightful personality to go with them. She is a happy and sweet girl that likes to be with her people and cuddle next to them on the couch. She joyfully plays with toys, enjoys chew toys, and tummy rubs!  She is on medicine due to damaged caused by heartworms. However, she still enjoys a typical walk around the neighborhood. She has a tendency to dash at cars while on walks so her forever person would need to be able to handle that.  She would be the perfect dog for a person or couple looking for a lower-key companion to curl up this winter. We are looking for her to be the only dog in the home. Her adoption fee has been sponsored which means the adopter pays no fee. However, a adoption application still needs to be submitted and approved. Who can open their home to this sweet girl?July 19, 2024, 9:27 am

Story
Little Mabel is a petite. 1.5 year old beagle mix, weighing about 20lbs. She is quite nervous in the noisy shelter and would greatly benefit from a calm home to decompress in. Mabel is very sweet, though and will crawl into your lap for pets and love. She seems to enjoy the company of the other small dogs she's been around so far. Mabel is hoping to find someone who doesn't mind the howls and barks of a beagle!Mabel has tested positive for Lyme and Ehrlichia and is being treated. We encourage anyone who is interested in Mabel to do some research on these conditions prior to inquiring!

Story
This handsome young beagle is Barney! He's approximately 2 years old, and he came to us via transport from Southern Indiana. He wieghs in around 30lbs. We aren't sure what Barney's history is like, but we are certain he is a sweet and silly boy with your typical lovable beagle quirkiness! Barney is a typical hound, boisterous and cheerful, with long ears and a busy nose!Barney is up to date on rabies, bordetella, and 4dx negative. He is neutered and microchipped as well. He has received his first rounds of Distemper-Lepto and Influenza vaccines.Barney's fecal test came back positive for giardia. We have started the treatment process and will follow-up with a retest as per our veterinarian.
