Story
Hello! My name is Skye. I am a very affectionate, sweet, calm, and low energy, 2yr old, small sized (10lb), slender, short-haired Dachshund/Beagle/Chi mix. My name should actually be "cuddles" because cuddling with my foster humans on the couch, in bed, or on the floor is my favorite thing to do. I love to be with my humans, I am always by their side or in their lap. I will sit next to them on the couch or crawl in their lap if they are reading or watching a movie or in a dog bed next to them if they are at their desk working. I really do love lap time! I also love being held and giving kisses! At night, I curl up on my male human's shoulder and rest my head on his neck. I especially love morning wake up scratches. I am fostered with two small dogs (20lbs), one medium sized dog (30lbs), and one adult cat. I get along well with all of them but they are not necessary for me. My humans are my priority. I would be fine in a family as an only dog but only if my humans were home with me. I would not like being left home alone without any human or canine companion for more than 4hrs per day. I don't play with dog toys a lot but do sometimes enjoy chewing on a small stuffed toy or dog bone. I travel well in the car and I enjoy meeting new people. I am very cuddly, loving, and calm, which would make me a wonderful and calm family or companion dog.
