Story
I’ve had Nash since he was 8weeks old, he is now almost 4. He has been trained and was doing extremely well, until we brought our baby home. He does great with older kids but babies has been a different story. He is very smart but has become jealous and acting out in the last year. Lots of counter surfing, eating cat poop and whatever he can get his paws on. He has done great in dog parks and around other dogs, unless they are on the other side of his fence. He is extremely good at telling you when he has to go outside or is hungry. One of his quirky things is he likes to stand on his back legs, it’s his favorite trick. He doesn’t like his paws being touched so clipping his nails doesn’t happen but he will bite them and do it himself.

Story
Blue and Skeeter are wonderful eager to please velcro dogs. They would love nothing more than to spend the day curled up next to you or out exploring and being active. They have a lot of energy but are just as happy being couch potatoes. They are 7 year old Beagle terrier mixes who were found dumped together as puppies. Blue has been known to be too smart for his brother's own good and is good at distracting him to get the toy or person he wants. Skeeter is just happy to be around his brother and a person who will give him the most attention possible. They are very eager to please and love to learn, if it makes their people happy. Skeeter sometimes needs a bit of extra time to figure out new things, but he'll watch his brother and figure it out. They both need a bit of help learning how to be a dog again and that people come back. They are great boys and if someone is willing to help them learn they'll pick it up quick. They haven't been socialized in 3 years but previously went to doggy daycare. They needed a close eye but we're progressing at the time. They'd need some time before becoming another dogs friend. They haven't met any cats or young children before. They have the instincts of a hunting dog, usually happily retrieving live animals. They've met pet rats previously and gotten a bit too excited for their own good. They've been better with smaller dogs than larger dogs but living with other types of small animals would probably not be the best. Blue needs some help overcoming some resource guarding behavior but is a wonderful dog once he can be reassured there will always be enough for him from now on. These boys are full of love and life and would love nothing more than to have a good pawrent or family to share it with.       If you are interested in Blue and Skeeter please fill out an adoption application at:  https://www.dogsaredeservingrescue.com/adopt August 7, 2026, 12:33 pm

Story
Meet Trinity 🐾 Trinity is proof that some of the sweetest souls just need a second chance. This beautiful girl was adopted from us a few years ago and spent her days surrounded by love. Unfortunately, due to circumstances completely beyond her family’s control, they made the heartbreaking decision to return her to us. They knew we would make sure she found the perfect place to spend her golden years. Trinity has mastered the art of being the perfect companion. She loves everyone she meets and gets along wonderfully with dogs and cats alike. Her favorite activities include soaking up the sunshine on a warm day, lounging beside her favorite person, and claiming her spot on the couch for an afternoon nap. Trinity isn’t looking for adventure—she’s looking for comfort, love, and a family to call her own. Because she’s a senior lady, she’d do best in a calm home, ideally with another older pet who will respect her peaceful lifestyle. She’s long past the puppy chaos and is simply ready to enjoy the quiet moments in life. If you’re searching for a loyal companion who will happily spend her days snuggled up beside you, Trinity is your girl. She has so much love left to give and deserves nothing less than a soft bed, a sunny spot by the window, and a family to cherish her for the rest of her days. After all she’s been through, we’d love nothing more than to see Trinity spend her golden years exactly where she belongs—home. ❤️ Available at County Line Pet Hospital 3312 Chicago Road, Steger, IL 60475 708-754-2351 Clphadoption@gmail.com

Story
Waylon 3 year old, male, beagle English bulldog mix. Smart, quiet for a beagle, loving with adults, too rough with children, treat and food obsessed. Must be kept on leash while outside (even in fenced in yards he finds a way out). Does not get along well with other animals because he does not know when to stop playing. Will do best in home as only pet with adults only
