Nestle is a very sweet dog. This is an extremely difficult decision, but I feel it is in Nestle’s best interest and health/happiness. I took in Nestle 2 years ago from someone who found him as a stray. He was very clearly a stray for most of his life, if not all of it. However I have another dog that I had prior to Nestle that is a large breed. Overall, Nestle & him do pretty well together. Nestle is food aggressive & toy aggressive, but I feed them in separate rooms & they have their own toys to play with. As Nestle has gotten older, he has started to want to stay outside more & be alone more. He goes into his crate often to avoid other dog. I’ve tried calming things, different thunder wraps, and other measures. Ultimately, I don’t think he is living his best life here. I think he would do best on a farm where he can run and howl like beagles love to do. He’s a very sweet boy & loves cuddling too.

Lady Lady is a Female Beagle/Boxer Mix DOB: August of 2021 Adoption fee: $150.00 I currently weigh around 40 pounds, I could use to gain a little weight, but I am a very nice size for those wanting a smaller/to medium size companion. I am playful and loving but unfortunately, I have tested light positive for heartworm. I am currently looking for a foster home or foster with the intent to adopt until I have completed my treatment. Not much information came with me when I arrived at the shelter except, my owners could no longer care for me, and very little vetting was provided while in their care. I have had at least one litter of puppies, but I am now spayed, and I feel so much better. I would do best with a physically fenced yard (I may require it). I walk well on a leash, and I appear to be house-trained. Pending a meet and greet, I may match with another dog. I have not been tested with cats yet but can be with an approved application. I would do my best with children 10 yrs. and older. I will make a great companion for the right situation.
