Story
Meet Matilda (Tilly)! She’s a 6 month old brindle Beagle/Boston Terrier mix. She was surrendered to us by a commercial breeder. This girl is adorable and keeps us laughing. Tilly likes all toys, treats, and snuggles with her people - after wearing herself out of course! There is nothing she loves more than a good sniff! Tilly is a playful, busy puppy who gets along with other dogs and has been respectful of cats in her foster home. She has found her Beagle voice. She is great with kids! Tilly is sleeping in a crate at night, and working on leash and potty training. She is such a sweet girl and will make one lucky family very happy! Tilly is now fully vetted, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and ready for adoption. Her adoption donation is $500. Please apply directly in the dropdown menu on our website at https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. We are a state licensed, 501c3 nonprofit rescue and the adoption donation may be tax deductible for you.  Thank you for choosing adoption!! September 10, 2026, 10:34 pm

Story
Meet Joanie! This adorable 6 month old Boston Terrier/Beagle mix came to us through a breeder release and is ready to find her forever family!    Joanie is playful, active, curious, and full of all the puppy energy you would expect. Toys, chews, tug of war, shoes…. All are so much fun! She’s recently learned that she has a voice and isn’t afraid to use it.    Joanie is submissive and lets others lead. She’s learning quickly. She doesn’t mind walking on a leash, listens well for a puppy, and is inquisitive about everything around her. She’s learning commands and figuring out how the world works. She has learned her place with the small dogs in her foster home and is great with them. Cats have also taught her a lesson or two, so she approaches them with a little more caution now.   Joanie is very sweet and affectionate. She loves to love. She gives kisses, enjoys getting pets and kisses in return, and is happy to sit or lay next to her people or curl up on their feet. And don’t let her fool you, she gives some pretty great hugs too.   Joanie is still working on potty training and will need a family willing to continue her puppy training. She sleeps nicely in her crate. With her curious personality, sweet heart, and those big beautiful eyes, Joanie is ready to find her people.   She is spayed, fully vetted and vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to meet you! Her adoption donation is $500. Story
Meet Chachi! This handsome 6 month old brindle Boston Terrier/Beagle mix came to us through a breeder release and is ready to find his forever family!    Chachi is a puppy through and through. He’s active, playful, and has bouts of the zoomies. Squeaky toys, tug of war, hard chew toys, and socks are all fair game if they are on the ground . He’s also just recently discovered his voice, so he’s figuring out that barking can be pretty fun too.   Chachi is a bit of a leader. He’s inquisitive, loves to see what’s going on, and is learning commands as he goes. He does well on a leash, listens pretty well, and is submissive to the small dogs in his foster home. He has also learned that cats deserve a little caution.   When he finally slows down, Chachi is a total lovebug. He gives the best hugs, loves kisses and pets, and is happy to sit or lay next to you or curl up on your feet. He sleeps nicely in his crate.   Chachi is still working on potty training, so his new family will need to be ready to continue teaching him the ropes. But with those adoring eyes, his big personality, and so much love to give, we think he’s going to make someone very happy.    He’s now neutered, up to date on vetting and all vaccines, microchipped, and ready to meet you! His adoption donation is $500.
