❤️RIVER❤️ Where are my senior lovers! I have the boy for you. river is so sweet and cuddly. He’s great with my dogs and my cat. since he’s a beagle he definitely has that hound nose loves to sniff everything but also like a typical beagle he is sweet and loving. River seems to be housebroken. No accidents in the house so far. He likes to be outside even though it’s chilly. River is 10 years old and approximately 20 pounds. He’s currently under weight but I will be working on that. River is being fostered in Lake Ariel, PA. If you think river is the boy for you get your application in at Www.mountainrottierescue.net

Story
Odin is about 1.5 years old and 36 lbs. He is a friendly and active boy. He is housebroken. He loves toys and playing fetch. He knows "sit," "down," "paw," and "go get your ball." He would do well in a home with a fenced in yard for fetch and zoomies. He is good with other dogs that like to play but is learning boundaries, because he always wants to play. Story
Lottie is a dream boat in every sense, all wiggle booty, soft eyes, and a sweet little love-lean that immediately makes you feel like you would move mountains to make her happy. This girl literally arrived speaking “best friend,” and had a whole crew of people fawning over her every move. That is some powerful magic. Everything about her says gentle, affectionate, and an absolute joy to be around. Want to see Lottie’s wiggle-booty charm in motion? Head to YouTube https://youtu.be/JPvzwyzn_mY Lottie is estimated to be just over 3 years old, she weighs a cool 42 lbs, and is maybe a beagle/pug/american bully? Gosh if it isn’t the cutest mystery mix though. If you still somehow need convincing that she is “the one,” here you go. Let’s talk about all her other awesome qualities. On leash she’s a sweet sidekick who adjusts beautifully to guidance, and naturally sticks close to her person. It feels natural from the first step, like “Alright, we’re doing life together now.” With dogs Lottie is just as sweet. She greets new dogs with a friendly, welcoming energy and if you happen to be standing behind her for this you will get the cutest wiggle-wag-booty-action! Its somehow a helicopter tail and a full booty bounce at the same time. With the rest of the dogs she was quite submissive and polite, and she reads the room well. With slow, thoughtful introductions, she should do well with dog friends and seems like a middle-of-the-pack pup who will happily “get in where she fits in” without needing to run the show. In the kennel, Lottie is an absolute star. She is both house and crate trained and walks right in and settles with no fuss. Just the same, once we came inside, she settled beautifully and showed us that she has a naturally low-energy. Couch potato vibes for sure! She was ready to lay down and nap within 5 minutes and she gives off strong “apartment-friendly” vibes. Small-ish, quiet, great leash manners, and sweet as a button. Cats were a “maybe” in a way that feels promising. At first she wasn’t overly interested, respectfully curious and are happy to arrange a sleepover with our Kitty Committee to confirm what that curiosity turns into once she’s fully settled. And one more detail that pretty much melted our hearts on contact, the day she came to spend the afternoon with us she rode in the car on her best-buddies lap in the backseat, the whole way.. Her best buddie is a sweet little boy just under the age of 10. As if she wasn’t already a full dream, she shows us her tender nature with kids to really solidify that. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate, low-key little lovebug who walks nicely, settles easily, and will happily become your quiet companion with a wagging tail and a leaning heart… Lottie is ready and waiting but we know she will not be waiting long. If you are interested do not let her get away! Apply today!
