Story
Boone is a once in a lifetime dog! He's like the coolest little guy with intelligent eyes, a bit of swagger, and charm!   Found in a hoarding case involving 36 other dogs, he has really seen it all. He's adjusted well to living in a foster home. Kind of like a duck to water. Boone enjoys long lazy day naps, car rides, and snacky-snacks! Speaking of snacks, he is very gentle taking a treat, but needs to be fed separately from other dogs. We imagine he probably had to compete for food in his former environment.   He play well with other dogs and gets along great with cats. He does well with older children. Boone is crate trained, but he has a tendency to mark with other male dogs are in the house, so we use a belly band. He is heartworm negative and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. He has been neutered and has a microchip. he has great manners and is beyond the chewing stage. Currently he is being fostered in Arkansas, but transport is available to New England. His adoption fee is $350, which includes transportation ##2559643##

Story
Hello, my name is Dante, I`m looking for my retirement home. In my 12 years of life I have quite the story. I am an escape artist and I can`t help it, I love to explore! One of my adventures in my earlier years landed me with a broken leg. I absolutely must have a home with a fenced yard. I also need someone who will diligently keep my leash on. It is best if I go home to either a single person or to a couple and no young children because I`m afraid that`s an easy way for me to slip out the door and take to wandering again. I can be shy at first, because of my special personality, you will have to make multiple visits to the shelter to make sure I am comfortable before I can go home. If you have the patience and the calm environment I`m looking for in a home please come in to meet me!

Story
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.Paprika, also known as 'Miss Bossy Pants!' Paprika is #1 of this litter of 10. She is one of the smallest of the litter, but she doesn't take anything off the bigger puppies. She loves to play with everyone and will demand they play with her, whether they want to or not. This is a girl who knows what she wants! Paprika is very loving as well, and enjoys a good snuggle with her siblings and/or humans after play time. We dont know the breed of these puppies, they are all different, so there's probably more than 1 'daddy' involved. Mom is very mixed. Paprika, being one of the smallest of the litter, will likely be around 40 lbs when grown, but this is just a guess based on her current size and build. She is an absolute doll baby with short little legs and a round, stocky body. She is going to make a great addition to a family! She is good with kids, cats, and other dogs. Currently 8 weeks old at the time of this post, and weighs about 8 lbs. Paprika is located in Arkansas. She can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. To apply, please fill out the adoption app: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Message us or email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions. She is spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion. Please visit our Facebook page too! https://www.facebook.com/adoptastrayrescueorg For more info regarding adopting, email apps.aasr@gmail.com Thank you for considering one of our rescue babies!November 27, 2025, 6:31 pm
