Story
Abby is a sweet dog. We have had her since 2015 and got her when she was a puppy from a friend. She is approxiametly 10 years old. Abby does well with children, but likes to jump so would not do well with small children. She is super friendly, and gets along well with her pal Gracie, but I am not sure about other dogs. She does chase our cats. She is trained on an invisible fence, housetrained with the occasional accident. For her age, she still has energy! Unfortunately our home has become too busy to give her the attention that she needs. She is spayed and up to date on her shots. She is getting to be older, so an experienced dog owner is a must, especially because of her breed. Thank you for thinking about giving Abby a home.

As a rescue, We do not euthanize dogs but dogs that are listed as URGENT are still waiting to be saved from animal control and they do euthanise. We can only save them when space is available or have an adopter. These 3 girls for (BLAIRE, SAMARA AND HOLLIS) some reason remind me of beagles, hound lab mix! they have the most beautiful colors with their backs being darker than the rest of them. They were all so happy to be out in the sunshine after being in the shelter and getting some attention. They were found as strays together. 4 months and all around 20lbs I think they will be smaller side of medium. The sisters are looking for a family that will never dump them again!

Meet Happy! Happy was rescued from a horrible situation. He was treated for heartworm and now just needs a monthly pill. He is completely vetted and is a sweet little boy who needs a loving home. PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 3/31/26 In New England. We’ve named this Beagle Bruce. He doesn’t really answer to it but he does answer to the treat bag or anything that sounds remotely like treats He was found as a stray with another Beagle, now named Frank. No owners have come forward. We are getting them neutered, vaccinated etc. and looking for homes for them. They are NOT bonded.    Bruce has only been with me just over a week so he’s still settling in but so far, here’s what I know- He’s SO friendly and sweet. Loves to be pet and to cuddle up on the couch with me. He is a happy boy- his tail is always wagging. I’m not sure how old he is. I’m guessing 5ish but will get a guess from the vet. He has been great with my dogs. He rides good in the car. He has not barked at all. I’m waiting for it! So far he has not been overly energetic but he is happy to go outside and go for walks. He is definitely a hound, nose to the ground the whole time but is not a hunting dog. He is crate trained. Mostly house trained. Asks at the door. He has marked a few times but he’s not neutered and there are lots of smells in this house from all the fosters who have passed through. I think once he’s neutered the marking will stop.   He will need a home with a fenced yard.   Once fully vetted he’ll be ready for his forever home!
