Story
Meet Clover! This tiny little lady is just learning what the world is all about and while she is curious to learn, it's also a big scary world! She will take a lot of time and patience to warm up to her people, but once she does, she is full of joy and happy wiggles. She still has quite a bit of work to do on basic manners and could use some help with house training, but she is picking it up fast in her foster home by learning from the other dogs. She has enjoyed playing with her kitty friends and has warmed up to her dog friends as well after slow and steady introductions. She would prefer her things to be her own, and doesn't share very well with other dogs, given what her past may have looked like, we totally understand! Clover will need an understanding, quiet, and routine home that will let her learn what it truly means to be a dog.

Meet Clover! This tiny little lady (around 20 pounds and.2 or 3 years old) is just learning what the world is all about and while she is curious to learn, it's also a big scary world! Clover will need an understanding, quiet, and routine home that will let her learn what it truly means to be a dog. And we asked for her must have and she said she won't consider a home without a confident, social dog friend. She's looking for a role model as she learns how to navigate the world. Clover is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccines. You can apply to adopt her at www.rescueofhope.com/adopt/ ##2656017##

Story
We adopted Dexter from a shelter 3.5 years ago. I want to paint a clear picture of Dexter. He is an anxious dog. We have three kids and when they are around and playing, he usually leaves the room. He likes them if they are calmly petting him but does not like when they are active. He is very tolerant of them and has never been reactive towards them. Dexter is an extremely cuddly dog. He loves nothing more than to be pet and lay by you on the couch. He has very soft, cozy fur on his neck that is so soft it makes your hand happy to pet it. Dexter does bark at the Amazon guy and at animals in the yard. He likes to chase small animals. He is not good with other dogs. His ideal home would be with a dog lover with no other pets, and no kids, or kids who love to pet dogs. He doesn't play much. He is bad on a leash. We have a fenced in area so we just let me him out there. He does try to escape sometimes but always comes home quickly. He's a sweet boy, but needs a calmer home. He weighs 26lbs

Story
Max’s owner had to move into an assisted living facility and I have been fostering him for a couple months. He is 12 years old, mostly blind and diabetic. He gets 5 units of insulin via injection after every meal. He is on a special diabetic dog food. He gets along very well with our two dogs and cats. We also have two kids that he is good with. He sleeps most of the day and loves to sit in your lap or right next to you on the couch. He’s a sweet, gentle dog that is extremely easy to case for. But he needs somebody that can oversee his diabetes and can afford the cost of insulin, needles and diabetic food. Overall the vet says he is very healthy for a dog his age. I am needing to re-home him because I simply cannot give him the care he needs because of my two other dogs, four cats and two children.
