Story
Rocky is a 10 yr old beagle/GSD mix who I originally adopted while living in Phoenix, AZ. It was not disclosed to me that he had behavioral issues, so what I have learned in our time together is that he is sensitive to paws and butt being touched. He is reactive to most care based activities such as nail trimming, baths, and vet. We have had success in medicating before vet visits. I’m guessing he has history of abuse as he is skittish to loud noises or if you hover/lean over him. Be warned - he does have a bite history. This being said, his reactivity only comes out when doing things that trigger him, 80% of the time he is a cuddly well behaved dog. He loves walks and playing at the dog park. He loves cats as well.

Story
Bo is a German shepherd mixed with beagle, he is a good dog who loves going for walks and snuggling up close. He is completely house trained and has lived with other dogs and has lived with children. We rescued him from Kentucky and are sadly having to give him up for adoption due to my crazy traveling work schedule and us having a newborn baby. Unfortunately we just do not have the time to give him the love and attention he deserves. Bo is a fantastic family dog!

Story
This is Cookie the 3 year old female, 24 # housedog. She is friendly , sweet and loving and has always lived indoors with another dog. She likes other dogs and is good with cats. She loves respectful children and people. She is homeless thru no fault of her own and will be a marvelous pet for someone. She has been to the Vet for all updates. She has a 4 DX test for Erichilia, Anaplasma, HW and Lyme disease, DHLPP, Rabies, Micro Chip and everything else the Vet says she needs. This beautiful girl needs someone home a bit, a fenced in yard and hopefully a buddy to play with. She has one now that needs a home also (i.e. Maggie), if you are interested in a pair. Story
My name is Peanut and I'm the sweetest, most affectionate lil' gal this side of the Mississippi! I love, love, LOVE snuggling and giving kisses. I'm an approximately 5 year-old female, predominantly rat terrier but my foster parents think I'm mixed with beagle. I'm currently overweight at 16 lbs. (ideal ~12 lbs.) but working on my summer bod via controlled portions and going on walks. Speaking of walks, I'm an absolute gem on a leash; I don't tug or pull nor am I reactive to other people, dogs, or distractions! Maybe it's these short little legs, but I walk at a very leisurely pace and I'm in no rush to get anywhere. Laid-back couch potato at heart, but I enjoy casual walks around the block and ride well in the car. I would prefer someone who can match my energy with a laidback lifestyle and let me nap next to them during the day and sleep next to them at night. My house-training is stellar; I use a doggy door to go outside when I need to and then come right back in; I'm very efficient! I'm also very trustworthy – my foster parents have never crated me! However, I have no issues with laying on a comfy dog bed in a crate and can often be found snoozing or chilling in there. I'm not a big fan of stairs but will navigate them if they are carpeted or have tread covers. I'm food-motivated and quick to learn! I enjoy playing with and squeaking my toys and occasionally chewing on rubber Nylabones. I do fine with other respectful dogs big or small, but prefer to avoid rambunctious pups. At this point, you must be wondering how a great, mellow dog like me could end up without a home? Sadly, I wound up in a shelter after my elderly owner passed away – but was thankfully pulled for rescue. Despite my loss, I remain sweet and gentle and would make a wonderful companion in a calm, steady home.
