Are you ready to welcome the chubbiest, most lovable furball into your life? I'm Chubbs, and I'm all about the snacks! I'll do just about anything for a tasty treat, and I'm always up for a snack negotiation. But don't worry, I know how to balance it out with some extra strolls around the block (or two) to keep my figure in check! Besides snacks, I absolutely love kids and cuddles. Family movie nights are my favorite—I'll cozy up with you and the kiddos, sharing some popcorn (just a little, I promise!). I'm the perfect buddy for snuggles and playtime, making every moment together extra special. I have met some other dogs in the past and have been content to hang out with another pup, but I’m not too keen on contact sports or rough play—I'd much rather chill and enjoy a tasty snack! Also, I can be a bit vocal at times when I play or when I get a little overly excited, I am a Beagle after all. And here’s the icing on the cake (or should I say, the frosting on the pupcake?): I’m the sweetest boy around! I love making new friends everywhere I go, spreading my charm like sprinkles on a sundae! Think you can handle the cuteness overload, snack negotiations, and endless cuddles? Our family adopted, Sebastian, Sebby, April 2021, When he was roughly 10 weeks old and our boys were just 2 1/2 and newly four-year-olds at the time. He is now 3, and our boys are nearly 6 and 7 1/2 y/os. It was (and still is) a whole lot of energy in the house, and sadly that is why we have to adopt him out. Sebby is a love bug, he snuggles, begs for pets, enjoys a sniffing walk, his default is to sit and wait for you and what you want. He’s a great “picker upper” if you drop cheese, fruit or popcorn, and chases ice cubes. Sadly we are finding the energy in our home is not one he is handling well, nor is it fair to him. We are seeing a lack of boundary respect (mostly from one who has a sensory need that overstimulates the pup), and are afraid that someone will get hurt and don’t want that to happen. It breaks our hearts to do this, but we need to protect our family (human & pup). We feel that he’d do best in a family with older kids who understand boundaries or empty nesters.

Meet Sadie! Sadie is very pretty girl, with the most soulful eyes brown eyes you have ever seen, and the sweetest freckles on her legs. She's a happy girl, aways wagging her tail and often has a smile. She is gentle and doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She puts up with the tiny residence dogs when they pull her ears, jump up on her or nip her legs. She tries to play with them but they don't reciprocate. She would do well with another dog her size to play with. She loves to be outside and let her hound nose take over. She enjoys smelling the outdoor smells, perhaps sensing the bunnies or squirrels who visited the yard before her. Sadie is crate trained, but would much prefer being with her person at night.  If you don't like doggie kisses, you won't fancy Sadie! She loves to give the people she loves her sweet kisses, probably as much as she loves peanut butter and cheese. Feline friends are safe with Sadie. She lives with some now and has no interest in them (except their litter boxes of course). As she is young, she has youth exuberance and we are working on manners. She has not had any interaction with children, but with her gentle nature and medium size, I believe a family would be good for her. Unfortunately, Sadie came into rescue with heartworms. She is under treatment at the moment and doing very well. If you are a hound lover, please consider Sadie.
