Brutis is an older guy that has heartworms. With his age it is not recommended that he receive the injectable form of medication to treat him of heartworms. It has been recommended by our veterinarian that he stay on monthly prevention and treatment for the rest of his life. Heartworms can and often do shorten the life span of our pets, however, she is a very happy guy and would love a family of his very own for the time he does have left. Brutis will come with a 6-month supply of Heartworm medication (an additional 6 months may be purchased at time of adoption). It is recommended that he be seen by a veterinarian regularly to monitor for any progression of the Heartworms. Your regular veterinarian may choose to change the treatment plan.

Sol came to us from an abusive home. We have overcome some of his issues and given him a lot of love. But he is too much dog for us. My husband is disabled and can't take care of him on the rare instances when I'm out of town for work. Sol doesn't do well with cats. And absolutely no chickens. He can be very loveable and sweet but he needs better care than we can give him.He will have a crate, toys, 18.5lb unopened dog food, and treats (previous owner was a hoarder), and a running line if you want it.
