Hi my name is Leo... I am the cutest little beagle. I love to play and be snuggled. I love the outdoors. It would be great to grow up with some kids to play with and bond with. We could go to the creek, go on hikes, and anything else adventureous. I look forward to meeting my new family.

Story
Freddie is an estimated 10-month-old, 30lb beagle mix with a sweet nature and so much potential. He’s a friendly, easygoing boy who gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, chickens, and kids—making him a great fit for a variety of homes. Freddie can be a little shy on the leash right now, but it’s clear he just needs some confidence and gentle guidance. He’s very trainable, eager to learn, and already showing that he wants to do the right thing—he just needs someone to help him feel safe and show him the way. With a little patience and consistency, Freddie is going to blossom into an incredible companion. He’s the kind of dog who will form a strong bond with his people and thrive in a loving, supportive home. Freddie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative—ready to start his new life. We can’t wait to see this sweet boy gain confidence and find the family he’s meant to be with.

Story
I get along well with cats, making me an ideal companion for any family with furry friends. - TJ Dogs are usually tested with other dogs their size, and we encourage meet-and-greets with your dog before adoption. Cat tests are available if requested, but they only check for clear aggression. Always be careful when introducing dogs to cats. Advice about dogs living with children is based on behavior like energy level and how the dog handles touch. Young children should never be left alone with dogs, and we cannot guarantee how any dog will behave with kids or other pets. Behavior seen in the shelter is just a snapshot and may change in a home. Dogs come from many backgrounds and may need training, time, and patience. Dogs should not be fed together unless you know they do not guard food. We also suggest learning about a dog's breed or mix to be sure it fits your family. Moving to a new home can be stressful for dogs. Use the Rule of 3 to help them adjust: First 3 days: Dogs may feel scared, tired, overexcited, or not want to eat. First 3 weeks: Dogs start learning routines and may show new behaviors. Keep things calm and avoid busy places. First 3 months: Dogs usually feel settled and more comfortable.
