Story
Betty Jean here!!!! I am a brilliant and Loving elder Lady that does not partake in the common issues you will have with a Puppy! I am confident and I love to sniff around in the yard. The bigger and better sniff areas in your yard the better! I obviously must be in an indoor home, but I LOVE to sniff! I live with small and large dogs but prefer larger or size of my own. Little fluffy dogs make me think I need herd them around :) I am fully vetted and healthy! I am being fostered in Taylors, SC BUT can travel to the right family that will come meet me :) A fenced yard is non-negotiable as I LOVE to sniff around and my nose would get me in trouble without a fence! A very Secure Fence is a MUST!!! Story
Franny Franny was abandoned in a back yard without water or food inside of a kennel. This would have been a death sentence if not located in the Knick of time. Franny deserves better and we have shown her what love looks and feels like. She is an 8ish year-old Beagle queen weighing in at 28 pounds. Franny is full of spunk and playfulness acting more like a 4 year old. She can be selective on which dogs she likes, so meet and greet and play dates will be done before placement! She loves to play with toys and people or both 😊 She is housetrained assuming you stick to a strict schedule so she knows when it is time, she will only have an accident if you fail to adhere to her schedule 😊 She is crate trained, if not crated and you are gone, she will try to realign all papers into the Beagle Dewy Decimal System. Books and Magazines included. Her Beagle barometer from a 1-10 is a solid 2. Which means only when others bark does she join and if she sees the Amazon truck 😊 Her favorite hobby is sniffing in a yard with a plethora of trees and bushes for her to investigate and sniff. Obviously, she must be homed indoors but loves to spend a good part of her day sniffing around! She would be perfect to take hikes, camping and for strolls at the ocean. Do not let the age intimidate you as she is not your typical 8-year-old! Franny is being fostered in Augusta, GA but can be adopted anywhere between here and Greenville, SC or Florida 😊 Do you think that you can provide her with an amazing home forever? Well, fill out an application! Story
Meet Lady Bird!  Lady Bird is the sweetest and most affectionate dog there could ever be. She loves her people intensely and has so much patience for all dogs! She loves to run around, play with toys, eat some good food, and snuggle up. In her new home, at least one other dog in the home will be required.    Now Lady Bird can be a very nervous girl when it comes to the world. Once she warms up and settled in, her confidence sky rockets! She loves people and dogs, loves toys and is good with cats! She will need someone who can give her the time and encouragement she needs to become the bestest dog ever. Will you be the one to give her the love and time she needs to trust the world again?   She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and current with all vaccines (as appropriate for her age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Lady Bird is currently being fostered in South Carolina.   ADOPT LADY BIRD!! www.LuckyPupRescueSC.com The adoption fee is $375.00 and we require a vet check and home visit. July 1, 2025, 1:40 pm

Story
"Adventure is out there!" ...But PawPaw would prefer a nap and a snack. 🎈 Meet PawPaw, our resident "funny grumpy old man." At 6 or 7 years old, this distinguished gentleman was found wandering the streets, but he’s officially traded his traveling shoes for a comfy spot at Mimi’s Place. If you love the old man from the movie Up, you will fall in love with PawPaw. He has a big personality and some very specific "old man" hobbies: 🦴 Professional Excavator: He loves to bury his bones (he’s saving them for a rainy day!). 🤫 Resource Guarder: He’s a bit stingy with his treasures, so he’d prefer a home that respects his "What’s mine is mine" policy. 🏠 He’s a total gentleman who puts himself to bed in his crate after outdoor time—no reminders needed! 🦮 Easy Walker: He’s comfortable on a leash and ready for a slow stroll around the block. 🎂 JANUARY SPECIAL: It’s Mimi’s Birthday month! To celebrate, all adoption fees are WAIVED for the month of January. Donations to help us continue our work at Mimi’s Place are always appreciated! PawPaw is looking for a quiet home where he can be the king of his castle. He is available for PREADOPTION while he finishes his final vetting and neuter.
