Meet Cici, Eumy’s tiny little sister and the smallest of all 12 siblings. At 2 months old, she weighs just 2.5 lbs — but this teeny girl has an enormous amount of love to give. Cici and her 11 siblings were found tucked into the rocks of a beach in Puerto Rico, trapped inside a little beach cave with the tide coming in. Rescuers climbed down into the rocks and pulled the babies out one by one before the water could reach them. Cici was the littlest of them all. And this girl is an absolute human lover. Cici loves, loves, LOVES people and would happily spend her entire day being carried around in someone’s arms. She is incredibly sweet, cuddly, affectionate, and just wants to be as close to her humans as physically possible. If there is an available lap, Cici plans on being in it. Based on her size now, our vet’s best guess is that Cici will stay under 25 lbs fully grown, but with rescue puppies, adult size is always a bit of a mystery! Cici is currently in Puerto Rico and is already on the docket to head stateside to a foster home — unless her forever family finds her first! Cici was almost washed away before her life had even begun. Now all this tiny girl wants is exactly what she loves most: a human to hold her close and never let her go.

Story

Lottie would be great for someone experienced with Beagles and training in general. She is soo smart and trainable but is a little dramatic too. Lottie gets jealous for attention with other dogs or children. She hasn’t bitten or shown aggression but gets anxious when others interfere with her being the spotlight. She is healthy and up to date on vaccines. She is fine with male dogs at the dog park. However, she does not interact with or show any fondness for the older female dog in our home. Lottie loves her crate, walks and will lay in your lap as long as you allow. I feel like she would be best suited to be an only dog or paired with a male. She is mostly housebroken but has peed inside. She needs a little more training and seems to pee inside as a marking behavior when the other dog is getting attention. She came to me not housebroken at all so she’s making a lot of progress.

Meet this 2 year 9 month old, 19 lb beagle! She came to us 4 months ago after being found on the side of the road by a family who took her in. Because they homeschooled, she was used to having people around most of the time. Since bringing her home, we learned that she thrives with companionship and does not enjoy being alone for long periods. Our schedules have allowed her to be alone for only 5-6 hours, but a new job will soon increase that to 9 hours, which we don't feel is fair to her. We want to find her a home where her needs and personality can be better accommodated. She is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and wants nothing more than to be your best friend. She does great with other dogs, and also loves kids! She walks well on a leash. She does enjoy stopping to sniff in true beagle fashion, but doesn't pull very hard. She has short bursts of energy but settles quickly and is happy to nap and relax. She has so much love to give and deserves a home where she can thrive.

Franny Franny was abandoned in a back yard without water or food inside of a kennel. This would have been a death sentence if not located in the Knick of time. Franny deserves better and we have shown her what love looks and feels like. She is an 8ish year-old Beagle queen weighing in at 28 pounds. Franny is full of spunk and playfulness acting more like a 4 year old. She can be selective on which dogs she likes, so meet and greet and play dates will be done before placement! She loves to play with toys and people or both 😊 She is housetrained assuming you stick to a strict schedule so she knows when it is time, she will only have an accident if you fail to adhere to her schedule 😊 She is crate trained, if not crated and you are gone, she will try to realign all papers into the Beagle Dewy Decimal System. Books and Magazines included. Her Beagle barometer from a 1-10 is a solid 2. Which means only when others bark does she join and if she sees the Amazon truck 😊 Her favorite hobby is sniffing in a yard with a plethora of trees and bushes for her to investigate and sniff. Obviously, she must be homed indoors but loves to spend a good part of her day sniffing around! She would be perfect to take hikes, camping and for strolls at the ocean. Do not let the age intimidate you as she is not your typical 8-year-old! Franny is being fostered in Augusta, GA but can be adopted anywhere between here and Greenville, SC or Florida 😊 Do you think that you can provide her with an amazing home forever?
