Story
Tom is sweet, playful, and fun. He’s a great snuggler and will snuggle up with you until you’re ready to wake up in the morning. Totally house trained, excellent with kids, and other dogs. Great in the car for short and long drives - he loves walks and hikes! He could use some consistent training but overall he is a very good, healthy, and cute boy. I think it is the basenji in him but he will run if he’s off leash so a fenced in yard would be a plus. He doesn’t actively try to sneak by you to get out the door but if he gets the opportunity, he’s exploring the neighborhood. We just found out my son has a pretty severe allergy to him that has caused a chronic cough which is why we’re rehoming.

Hey there, folks! My name's Russell Stover, and I'm here to tell you a bit about myself. I'm a 2-year-old Lemon Beagle / Cattle Dog mix, and I weigh almost 30 pounds. I may not be the biggest guy around, but I've got a whole lot of heart and energy to share with my future family! First things first-I'm sweet as can be. I love snuggling up with my favorite humans and soaking up all the love and attention I can get. There's nothing better than a good cuddle session! Now, let's talk about my energy level-I've got tons of it! I'm a high-energy guy who's always up for a game of fetch or a fun adventure outdoors. I'd be perfect for an active family who enjoys hiking, playing in the yard, or going for long walks. I've also been told I'm pretty funny! I love to entertain my friends with my playful antics and goofy personality. I'm great with other dogs and children too, so I'd fit right into a family setting.
