Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.DOB: 9/28/22 Hi my name is John Daly, more affectionally known as Moose and I am a goofy and fun young man that is looking for a forever home with my own family to love. In my foster home I have an older fur sister that I LOVE to play with and chase around the yard. My foster family also has grandchildren that visit often and I adore playing with them as well, but would do best in a home with children over the age of 8 because I still get excited when I meet someone and could accidentally knock a small child over. I am working on my manners and house training, and I already know how to sit for treats :). My foster Mom says my big soft ears make me extra cute and even easier to fall in love with.  I have been such a good and patient boy and I really just want a best human friend and forever family to call my own. Come out to our next adoption event to meet me if you are looking to add a sweet and fun pup to your home!  (JJ/EC*) Up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and micro-chipped.   Adoption Fee:  $250.00    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 31, 2023, 7:25 pm

Story
Bella was looking for a home when she was tricked into making a mistake! Then she was marked for death by the shelter and here she is waiting on her home! She is spayed, dog friendly, people friendly, house trained. She is 4 years old and could be a shepherd/beagle/terrier mix. I weigh 38lbs. I love to cuddle and enjoy lots of attention. I am not high energy and like to play but would rather spend time with my people. I am definitely housebroken and love taking long naps after sniffing around the yard. I am heartworm positive but will be done with my medicine in 2 months! I need a home with a new best furever friend.  Location: Zebulon, NC ##1661764##

Story
Buddy is a lover boy that wants to cuddle, give kisses, spend time with people and sniff anything and everything. He is easy going and crate trained (crate included with adoption). He is a good buddy and has been an affectionate companion since I adopted him. He does like to find things that smell interesting and if left alone out of the crate will sniff and taste things that he shouldn’t. He is very good about going in his crate though and will put himself in when he can tell I’m getting ready to leave. He will often wait at the door for people that are in another room. He makes cute sounds when he is happy and/or frustrated and if he is scared will want to curl up in your lap. He is cheerful, exuberant, and does well with dogs that are his size or larger. He does not do well with animals that are smaller than him. Due to unforeseen circumstances I am no longer able to care adequately for him. I am really sad I have to part with him and want him to be very loved and well cared for.

Story
Ziggy is a sweetheart! He loves people and playing with other dogs at the dog park. He's got puppy energy but will also be cuddly and calm when the people around him are settled. He loves to sit where he can look out the window, and gently huff at people walking by. He is still in the chewing-on-things phase of puppyhood but is quickly learning which things are allowed to be chewed and which are not. He does best with at least 2 walks a day, and/or time outside in a fenced yard or dog park to get his zoomies on. He is house-trained and crate-trained and does well in his crate when left alone. We think he would thrive in a home with other dogs, children, or both! He loves company and making friends. He's just the BEST boy and a perfect companion.

Story
Hi! My name is Audio but for some reason, my foster mom always pronounces it "No! Audio. I'm a 6-month-old puppy whose tail never stops wagging- even if I'm standing next to mom's shelves and it's knocking everything over with the wag. Mom says I have the face of a beagle, on the body of a baby cow, with the agility of a drunk cat, the energy of a bunny on speed, and the attention span of a flea. But my brother's DNA test said we're beagle, chihuahua, and rat terrier mixes. I was adopted out of freedom ride as an 8-week-old puppy and due to a major life change, my first family had to return me to the rescue. While they loved me very much and took great care of me, we didn't do a lot of training, so I'm still learning puppy skills like potty training. I'm also learning what I can and cannot get on top of.. mom actually calls me "Down! Audio too. Normally it's when I'm scaling the counter or sunbathing on the kitchen table. I don't know why she always yells- it's the best vantage point in the house to patrol for squirrels and I always let everyone know when I've spotted one! I absolutely love to run and play- I'd love a doggy sibling or an active family that would play with me. The two dogs in my foster home are much bigger than me, but they're my best friends! Sometimes they correct me when I'm being extra. I also love playing fetch and going for long walks/hikes with mom. A fenced-in yard would be best for me too. My beagle nose is good for more than just casual booping.. you know, I do all the backyard sniffing while everyone just lays around watching. I'd do best in a home that is excited about continued training and socializing for me- manners are new to me, so sometimes I forget them, but it's always because I'm really really happy. Mom says she can't stay mad at me because I'm so sweet and excited for everything. I'd also love if my people were home most of the day- I crate well and have no issues when mom leaves for a few hours, but I'm definitely happiest by your side. So if you're an active family looking for a playmate for their dog, who doesn't mind the challenge- errr- "opportunity of a 6 month old chaotic lover beagle mix, please oh please apply to meet me! I'm already excited about it. And damnit now I excited peed and mom is yelling again. Gotta go!!!
