Story
Princess came into my life four years ago. My daughter was living with me at the time and she brought her home from a rescue shelter. She’s a sweet girl. Anyone who’s been around her will tell you the same. We don’t know exactly how old she is. When my daughter brought her home we were told she was four, which would make her eight now but she appears older. We think she may have been abused. She’s anxious at times and has separation anxiety. My daughter relocated for work, and taking care of Princess on my own has become extremely hard, due to my own schedule and financially due to frequent daycare and boarding. Rehoming her is one of the hardest decisions but she deserves stability. Princess is sweet, loves cuddles, walks, and food. She quiet, and rarely barks or makes any noise. She does have accidents sometimes, so I think she would benefit having a family with a yard where she can go on a few walks a day. Overall, she’s an extremely lovable girl.

Story
Meet Velma! This sweet, petite 4-year-old Beagle girl weighing just 14 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped, and fully up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention. Though small in size, she has a gentle heart and a quiet charm. She does well with other dogs and is still learning how to play, exploring toys and interactions at her own pace. This little Beagle is also learning to trust people and is making steady progress each day. She would thrive in a patient, loving home that can help her continue building confidence and discovering how wonderful it is to be someone’s beloved companion. Our hospital is open for adoption visitation Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 5:00pm and Saturday's from 8:00am to 11:00am.  If you have any questions please feel free to call us at             919-266-8177 or email pets4adoption@bellsouth.net.  All adoption fees are cash or check only, we do not accept credit cards for adoption fees. Story
Vanilla is the sweetest girl you'll ever meet. She loves affection so much we're not sure there's a point at which she'd want someone to stop petting her. If she had her way, you'd pet her until your arm fell off. She loves being near her people, but for such an affectionate dog, she's not big on kisses. A plus for a lot of folks! Vanilla is only about a year old, so she's still a playful young lady. She loves toys, balls, and running around the yard. She is dog friendly and absolutely adores people. We don't think Vanilla has been taught any basic manners so she's learning everything now. She's already making great strides learning not to jump on people; she's mastered the dog door and potty training. Vanilla is a perfect angel, sleeping in her crate at night without complaint. When she was surrendered to the shelter her owner listed her as a Basset Hound, but we're not sure her former owner had actually ever seen a Basset Hound before. We think it's more likely that she's a Beagle, albeit a big one. Our girl could stand to lose a few pounds! Vanilla would do best in a single family home. Although she doesn’t bark a lot when her people are home, we’ve noticed she doesn’t like being left alone and barks some when she’s left. Apply to adopt this very good girl!

Story
Regi is a loving and great companion dog! Regi can be a chill, low energy dog or be an active high energy dog if you like. We already have two active dogs and helping take care of Regi, (my daughter's dog and being a third dog in the house) is too much with my full-time job and being more expensive to maintain the health and food resources for a third dog. Regi will be a great dog with a new family!
