Story
Do you want to bring lots of love and humor into your heart and home? Then meet Buggs and Muggs! These 8-year-old boys are full of affection and fun-loving energy. They do not have to be adopted together, but they would do well to stay together if possible. They both enjoy running around in the yard, taking walks, and playing with toys but also settle down nicely. They also love just lying around, napping and watching movies/TV. They are house trained, crate trained and ride well in the car. Both of these boys love people and want to be with their humans and each other as much as possible. They have been good with other dogs and cats, and around children. They are neutered, and up to date on all vaccines and preventatives. If you are interested in meeting them, contact their foster home at Gabbyt.2011@gmail.comBoth Buggs and Muggs will be at the adoption event on February 21st, 11-3 at Wilkesboro Pet Smart!

Story
Found as a stray who was never claimed, it would seem that she had been previously abused. She was first adopted by an elderly lady who said that she was afraid of her cane at first. She became comfortable and happy at her house, only this elderly lady is now in hospice care and needs to rehome her. Except for going to the vet's offices, Chelsea is not accustomed to being away from the lady's house..She has enjoyed playing with other foster dogs, but occasionally, can be bossy and dominant with them. She is initially skittish and shy, but warms quickly. As such, she would be a flight risk, so would recommend double-leashing her and having a secure, fenced yard. She loves to run back inside for a treat; is well crate-trained....Although she enjoys sleeping with someone, more recently, she has slept in her crate.....is very food and treat motivated. Is an even prettier dog in person, who deserves a lot of love... NO YOUNG CHILDREN. FENCED YARD REQUIRED; VET'S REFERENCE REQUIRED.February 18, 2025, 3:19 am

Story
Meet Copper: My Loyal Hurricane Survivor I’ve had Copper since 2019, after he was found following Hurricane Michael. He’s a spry 7-year-old who has been my devoted companion, and the only reason I’m looking for a new home for him is because I am going into the hospital and can no longer give him the home he deserves. Copper is a social soul who thrives on companionship. He is at his best with a fenced yard and a doggy door, where he can "chat" with the neighborhood dogs. On walks, he’s an enthusiastic investigator who loves to sniff every person and pup he meets before wandering on his "secret trails." He’s a perfect gentleman who gets along great with other dogs and even ignores housecats. He isn't needy—he just loves to be around his human. His favorite spot is burrowed under a blanket near me or watching for action from his be. I’m looking for a family or a couple who is home often so he doesn't fee alone. Copper is a truly good boy, and I want him to have a home as loyal as he i

Lollie is a female Border Collie/ Beagle mix.  Her vet estimated date of birth is March of 2024.  She has lots of playful energy.  She's crate trained and doing great with house training.  She's good with other dogs with proper introductions.  She thinks cats as a great game, so no cats.  She's kind with kids, but jumps on them. She just needs someone who will take the time and patience to teach her obedience training in order to be the best pup she can be. ~~ Adoption donation $ 300. All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and spayed. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative.
