Ace is a middle age beagle at about 6 yrs old but still has his beagle energy. He came to us as a stray and we can only guess it's because that beagle nose of his took him on an adventure. We are still learning about him but so far he's been the sweetest boy who loves to be around people and run. If you think he might be a pup for you fill out an application or come visit him.

Meet Ghost! 🐾With those soulful eyes, wonderfully floppy ears and classic hound-dog good looks, Ghost is pretty hard to resist! This 5-year-old, 32-pound beagle mix recently came to Canine Collective after a change in his family's circumstances meant they could no longer care for him. Having lived in a home, Ghost already knows what it means to be part of a family, and his former owner tells us he's good with kids and other animals.Since arriving, Ghost has been showing us what a sweet, good-natured guy he is. He rode nicely to the vet while sharing the trip with two other dogs and was easy to handle on a slip lead, walking without much pulling. He's also been a very good sport about all the necessary newcomer stuff — including his recent medicated bath, which he handled like a champ. And we're starting to discover some of Ghost's personality! Give this boy a chicken nugget and apparently he believes in saving for a rainy day. He recently carried his nuggets away one by one, dug a hole, tucked them inside and carefully used his nose to bury them for later. Check out the video at the end of the pics and you can see what a sweet boy he is!At 5, Ghost is past the puppy craziness but still young enough for plenty of walks, sniffing expeditions and adventures with his new family. He's sweet, expressive, curious and just quirky enough to keep you smiling.
