Meet Ghost! 🐾With those soulful eyes, wonderfully floppy ears and classic hound-dog good looks, Ghost is pretty hard to resist! This 5-year-old, 32-pound beagle mix recently came to Canine Collective after a change in his family's circumstances meant they could no longer care for him. Having lived in a home, Ghost already knows what it means to be part of a family, and his former owner tells us he's good with kids and other animals.Since arriving, Ghost has been showing us what a sweet, good-natured guy he is. He rode nicely to the vet while sharing the trip with two other dogs and was easy to handle on a slip lead, walking without much pulling. He's also been a very good sport about all the necessary newcomer stuff — including his recent medicated bath, which he handled like a champ. And we're starting to discover some of Ghost's personality! Give this boy a chicken nugget and apparently he believes in saving for a rainy day. He recently carried his nuggets away one by one, dug a hole, tucked them inside and carefully used his nose to bury them for later. Check out the video at the end of the pics and you can see what a sweet boy he is!At 5, Ghost is past the puppy craziness but still young enough for plenty of walks, sniffing expeditions and adventures with his new family. He's sweet, expressive, curious and just quirky enough to keep you smiling. I have been thriving in my foster home, but am looking to find my perfect forever family. I like to spend my days lounging in my dog bed and following my foster mom around the kitchen, hoping for some fallen scraps. I currently am living civilly with two dogs and a cat, but definitely prefer to have my person’s full attention! I am a little more cautious around men at first, but have warmed up to my foster dad very quickly. I am doing great with potty training and have been reliably going outside to do my business! Maple is an almost two and a half year old Beabull. She is super goofy, curious, and loves meeting new people! We recently had our 4th child and we are unable to give Maple the attention she deserves. Unfortunately, we also haven’t been able to give her enough exercise like taking her on walks or letting her run around outside. As a result she can get pretty hyper and with a newborn that isn’t ideal. She has never shown aggression or anything though, just very energetic!This has been a difficult decision for our family but we feel it's best for Maple to find a home where she can get more attention and the exercise she needs.

Stephie is nearly 6 years old. We adopted her 4 years ago to be a friend for our other beagle. She has a lot of energy and loves walks and play time. She needs a fully fenced yard or a dog run because escaping has been a bit of an issue. She has always been very sweet and good with all people and most other dogs.We are rehoming her because she recently got into a serious fight with the dog of a family member. The other dog was the original aggressor, but Stephie's bigger and could have seriously hurt the smaller dog. This has never happened before, and I don't really blame her, but it's causing family strife that I can't deal with right now.

She is a bundle of energy, but is sometimes a little shy. She loves to run and play with her sister and the other dogs in her foster home. She is still a little intimidated by the bigger dogs, but is warming up to them. She is just learning about toys. She is working on potty training and basic commands, and does well in a crate overnight.
