Story
Graham is a senior Beagle mix.  He is around 10 yrs old based on the information that was provided to us.  He is a sweet, playful dog and is very energetic for his age.  He is not good with cats so needs to live in a cat free zone.  He is fine with some dogs but should meet them prior to adoption being approved and finalized. Please call or send an inquiry about Graham if you have interest.  All dogs require an application to be completed and we prefer any residential dogs meet our dogs during the process leading up to approval.  Morrow County Dog Shelter, Mt. Story
Tank, formally known as Booker, is a 1 year 2 month old beagle pug mix. He was rescued from a shelter who had two different birthdays/ages for him but it was found out that he was born on 7/23/24. He’s very dog friendly and kid friendly. Current home is with a 6 year old and two large dogs. He has puppy energy but is always up for a cuddle. He is completely crate trained. He is doing pretty good proving he is potty trained or that someone did work with him at some point. He’s had two accidents since being out of the shelter but has not had any since. He learned his name in one day. The only reason he needs rehomed is because one of the big dogs currently there does not like him. He loves to give kisses and goes crazy with happiness when you go to let him out of the crate. He is just an adorable small boy looking for somewhere to call home so his current owners don’t have to be worried about his safety! He comes with a crate, puppy food, a food container, dog toy, new collar and leash!

Story
Tank is either a 1 year 4 month old or one year old beagle pug mix. He was rescued from a shelter who had 2 different birthdays/ages for him. He’s very dog friendly and kid friendly. Current home is with a 6 year old child and two large dogs. He has puppy energy but is always up for a cuddle. He does have a small bladder so it hurts him to hold it longer than around 5 hours! He is doing pretty good proving he is potty trained or that someone did work with him at some point. He learned his name in one day. The only reason he needs rehomed is because one of the big dogs currently there doesnt like him. Not his fault! He loves to give kisses and goes crazy with excitement when you go let him out of the crate. Hes an adorable small boy looking for somewhere to call home so his current owners don’t have to worry about his safety! He comes with a crate, dog food, and food container! Please help him and the other dogs by choosing tank so they don’t have to take turns being out of their cages!

Story
Tragedy has struck one of our adopter families, leaving this deeply bonded mother-daughter pair urgently in need of a new home.In January 2022, sweet Daisy came to us and delivered a litter of puppies in our care. She and one of her babies, Izzy, were adopted togetherand theyve been inseparable ever since. Izzy has always been a mamas girl. This week, their world was turned upside down. The woman who gave them a loving home was tragically killed in a car accident. Her family cant keep the dogs and has asked us to take them back. Now Daisy and Izzy need someone to give them a second chancetogether, if at all possible. Izzy is the perfect girl: Great with kids Good with cats and dogs Loving and easygoing Daisy (the mama) is more sensitive:Shes fearful of strangers and takes time to warm up.She is not aggressive, but has occasionally nipped when scared. She needs a calm, patient home that will let her adjust at her own pace.We know its a hard time for dogs needing homes. But we also know theres someone out there who can offer these girls the stability and love theyve lost. Please consider opening your heart and your home to Izzy and Daisywhether through adoption or foster care. You can apply at ricopetrecovery.org.
