Story
Foster Location: New Jersey Thunder was found as a stray during a thunderstorm (hence the name) and got a second chance when he was adopted from a local shelter. Unfortunately, his nose- and instincts- have gotten him into trouble. Thunder discovered that chickens are delicious and very exciting to chase, and his current home couldn't keep him because of it. He's friendly with people, does well with other dogs, and has been around kids from toddler age up through pre-teen. Cats, birds and poultry are an absolute no unless it's for lunch. Thunder is smart, playful, and loves a ball and chew toys. He’s been primarily an outdoor dog, so he may need some guidance with house manners- but at just a year old, he's very capable of being a very good boy- he just needs consistency and patience.

Story
Sadie has spent her whole life in a home- six years of being someone's dog- and now, suddenly, she doesn't have one anymore. She was recently inherited after her owner passed, and through no fault of her own, she doesn't fit into the new home. So now this quiet, affectionate beagle is looking for somewhere else to land... again. Sadie is everything you'd expect in a good dog. She's house trained, crate trained, gentle, and incredibly loving. She's calm with other dogs, fine with cats, and has been around kids. She doesn't ask for much- She enjoys long leash walks outside with a harness, not a collar. She enjoys being inside snuggling with her people. She enjoys children who are about 5 and older- she tolerates her current family's 2 year old but doesn't prefer her. Sadie isn't a project. She's not a problem. She's just a really good dog who needs someone to choose her and mean it.

Story
Bo was found on the side of a country road on the brink of death, mid summer of 2025, estimated to be a couple of months old at that point. We have him crate trained, and seemingly fully potty trained. With our busy schedules, running our business and 2 kids, we haven’t been able to give him the attention and exercise he needs. He’s fairly calm, but still young and gets excited, pretty minimal barking, with a kind temperament. He and our older rescue have become good pals, they have loved played together, and cuddle up often. That will be among the hardest adjustments, they will miss each other. He will come with crate, food, food bowl, bedding, toys and loyalty. Every time he’s managed to get out of our backyard, he goes and sits on our front porch.
