Teddy is a gentle, soulful Beagle who arrived at the shelter with his brother (Jackson, a senior border collie mix) after their beloved owner sadly passed away. Through all the change and confusion, Teddy has remained incredibly sweet, affectionate, and trusting—he just wants a soft place to land and someone to love. Like many Beagles, Teddy follows his nose and appreciates a good snack… maybe a little too much. He’s currently packing some extra holiday weight, but with regular walks, portion control, and a family willing to help him slim down, he’s already on the path to a healthier life. He enjoys leisurely strolls, sniffing everything in sight, and then settling in for a nice nap. Teddy does well with other dogs (especially his brother) and would thrive in a home that understands the Beagle personality—curious, loyal, and very food-motivated. He’s not in a rush; he’s looking for a calm, patient family who will give him stability after losing the only home he’s ever known. If you’re looking for a loving companion with sad eyes, a wagging tail, and a whole lot of heart, Teddy might just be your perfect match. Meet Baron, a 3 year old beagle boy who is currently looking for the people who come with the snuggles. He’s been up to date on vaccines, heartworm prevention, flea and tick prevention, and deworming since day one with us, and we got him neutered and finished his vetting, so the boring part is handled. Buster is an easygoing guy who gets along with other dogs and loves to play with them. He's been around kids ages 3 and 4, knows sit and down, and can be trusted home alone for extended periods. He's a little hesitant with new people, but give him a minute and he comes around. He isn't a lap dog, but he'll happily take a belly rub, and he bonds hard with his people. Squeaky toys and walks are high on his list. Buster has lived outside his whole life, so indoor life is brand new to him. He's still figuring out indoor manners and routines, and he'll do best with an adopter who is happy to show him the ropes with some patience and consistency. LOCATION: TULSA, OK ADOPTABLE ANYWHERE IN THE USA Meet Aaron, a 22 pound, 3 year old beagle who looks and moves like a puppy and is every bit as cute as that sounds. He’s been in foster for a week and a half and has already won over the whole house. Aaron soaks up attention and he’s curious, yet gentle about it. He’s gone to the bathroom outside every single time, and he’s quiet in his crate. He’s also taking teenagers and other dogs in stride like he’s lived with them his whole life. His one flaw is that he’s a world-class Captain Underfoot. If you’re in the kitchen, Aaron is in the kitchen, and probably about to be stepped on. His foster family is teaching him to stay grounded when he wants attention and to reposition himself so nobody has to stop mid-step. He’s catching on. Aaron is heartworm positive and currently in treatment. He’s available to adopt right away to a Tulsa area home, and we’re accepting applications nationwide, with Aaron avaliable to head to a new far-away home once he’s finished treatment. What you’ll notice first is his coat. He’s black and white with ticked markings, a lot like a bluetick, and it’s not something you see on a lot of beagles.
