19 pounds of love! Rigby is good with cats and dogs, and does fine with children. She is playful with other dogs, and doesn’t mind sharing food. She is crate trained and housebroken. She is around 2 years old. She’s moderate energy. Rigby appears to be fearful of men, so an understanding home would be appreciated. Rigby will be spayed prior to adoption or under contract. Morgan came to us quite thin, he has gained some much needed weight and looks and feels better. Morgan is a young adult and 45 lbs. He guards his food which may or may not change with time and/or training. (each dog is different) Because he does guard his food he would not be available to anyone with a small child. Visit Morgan at the Rockbridge Spca or email manager@rockbridgespca.net heartworm tested: Negative visit our fb page: dogs of rockbridge and rockbridge spca. NOTE: all animals adopted are taken straight to a local veterinarian for spay/neuter. We do adopt out of area providing adopter is will to make more than one trip. There are NO exceptions, and we do not hold animals. All Kittens and puppies must weigh 2 lbs. for surgery and there are a limited number of veterinarians in our area that will do a pediatric spay/neuter. please note the Rockbridge Spca does not have emotional support animals or service animals. we do not adopt to college students, however, they are welcome to volunteer. a home visit may be required

She loves going on walks, sniffing around outdoors, playing, and of course—treat time! When she’s not exploring or playing, she enjoys relaxin Piper gets along beautifully with people, children, and other pets. She has a gentle, friendly personality and loves being part of family life. Why We’re Rehoming: We recently welcomed a baby in August 2024, and as our daughter has grown, it’s become clear that Piper isn’t getting as much attention as she deserves. We now live in an apartment, which makes it harder to give her the outdoor time and freedom she used to enjoy in our fenced yard. We want her to have the best life possible—with a family who can give her the time, space, and attention she thrives on.
