Story
Darla is the BEST Beagle we’ve had in rescue. Not only is she yummy to loo at…those eyes! Those ears! Her size and markings are adorable. She is not a barker (unusual for a Beagle) and she is fairly calm for a young dog. She gets along great with other dogs and hasn’t met one she didn’t want to be buddies with. Darla is very affectionate and loves to curl up with you on the couch or in bed and binge Netflix. She is as good on a leash as any other Beagle who needs to smell absolutely everything in the vicinity. She loves toys and can entertain you for hours. Darla would be a fantastic new family member to any home. FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. Story
Trixie was adopted from a shelter 4 years ago and was estimated to be about 2 years old at that point. I did a DNA test done on her and she was determined to be a purebred beagle. She is very petite for a beagle-- about 22 pounds currently. Trixie is an absolutely amazing dog as long as someone is with her. She is cuddly, but not overbearing. She loves to take naps or run and play with other dogs, cats, and kids. However, she struggles significantly with separation anxiety. She currently takes Prozac and hemp chews to help her stay calm when we are gone during the day, but we are very busy and are not able to be with her as much as she needs to be happy. Trixie would be best in a home where someone stays home most of the time.
