Say hello to Arnie, a 7-year-old Beagle mix with a heart as big as his floppy ears! This sweet, loving boy has the perfect balance of chill and adventure, he’s just as happy curling up beside you for a cozy nap as he is hitting the trail for a fun hike. Arnie gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He’s a gentle soul who fits right in. His easygoing personality and affectionate nature make him the kind of dog who can truly do it all. Arnie does seem bothered when people try to grab around or near his collar. We aren't sure what caused him to be so worried about this but, he clearly carries some anxiety about it, so he needs someone to give him time to adjust and get comfortable! If you’re looking for a loyal companion whose equal parts snuggle buddy and adventure pal, Arnie is your guy!

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi … my name is Jack!  I have some special needs because I am super shy and I am a flight risk.  Read my bio to find out everything you need to know about me.   If you think I might be the perfect pup for you, go to www.allamericanmuttrescue.org/forms and complete the adoption application online. We do not have a lot of information on Jack’s past, only that a Good Samaritan rescued this sweet beagle boy from a bad situation.  We have no idea why he is so terrified of people, but we have noted that he is generally less afraid of women and that he is terrified of anyone carrying anything in their hands. Jack is such a handsome boy and it is heartbreaking to see him so scared of everything.  His eyes say it all.  We’re pretty sure there is a lot of love inside this sweet boy that he would like to share with someone.  As scared as he is, he has never shown any aggression towards people. He even went through multiple surgeries to correct cherry eye in both eyes and he was a perfect patient during recovery when he had to wear the awful ‘cone of shame’ and had to have eye drops multiple times every day. Approximate age/birthdate:  May 19 2019 Weight/size:  30 lbs Housebroken:  YES unless he gets scared and piddles Crate trained:  YES Personality: extremely shy, very wary of people, enjoys the company of other dogs Energy level: medium Fenced yard required?:  YES a 6’ physical fence is required, NO EXCEPTIONS, no underground/electric fence. Does he/she jump fences?  He definitely could jump or climb a wire fence or chain link fence.  He did escape from a foster home yard once and it was scary! His current yard has privacy fencing. Leash walk with manners:  YES … once you get a harness on him, he will walk, although hesitantly when he is taken to a new location Obedience training:  NO Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK      Spayed/neutered:   YES Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES Microchipped:   YES Social with other dogs:  YES Social with cats: NO CATS will be best Good with children:  Will probably be best with respectful, calm children ages 10 and up.  He will often shy away from human touch, so children would need to be mature enough to understand his fear and the responsibilities of keeping him safe. Adoption donation: $175 We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible. When your application is approved, we will schedule a home visit/meet-and-greet to see if Jack picks you too. If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Sage is a truly lovely lady. Found as a stray, she previously lived in a busy home with toddlers, a baby, a cat, and two other dogs. Despite her age, she was always eager to roll and play, especially with the young female shepherd in the home. She still hops around like a puppy and loves to play—she’s just a bit of a noisy player! Crates and kennels aren’t her thing, and she becomes very distressed when confined. Because of this, she should be in a home where she doesn’t need to be crated. Or with a family that can help work work with crate training.  Sage adores toys, especially bones, and she is extremely food motivated. Most of all, she LOVES people. She’ll follow you everywhere, soaking up every bit of affection she can—her happy kisses never stop, and she thrives on attention and closeness. Sage is ready to find her forever family, one that will give her the love, comfort, and companionship she deserves for the rest of her life.
