Morgan came to us quite thin, he has gained some much needed weight and looks and feels better. Morgan is a young adult and 45 lbs. He guards his food which may or may not change with time and/or training. (each dog is different) Because he does guard his food he would not be available to anyone with a small child. Visit Morgan at the Rockbridge Spca or email manager@rockbridgespca.net heartworm tested: Negative visit our fb page: dogs of rockbridge and rockbridge spca. NOTE: all animals adopted are taken straight to a local veterinarian for spay/neuter. We do adopt out of area providing adopter is will to make more than one trip. There are NO exceptions, and we do not hold animals. All Kittens and puppies must weigh 2 lbs. for surgery and there are a limited number of veterinarians in our area that will do a pediatric spay/neuter. please note the Rockbridge Spca does not have emotional support animals or service animals. we do not adopt to college students, however, they are welcome to volunteer. a home visit may be required

Bailey has the face of a Beagle and the legs of a gazelle. He is trained to use a pet door and has been accident-free since arriving here. He's a sweet little boy that needs a family who will help boost his confidence. We think he's around 2 years old and he is healthy and ready to travel now. He seems to be afraid of men so a home with females or smaller quiet males would be best for him and another friendly dog would also help him feel more comfortable. I’m a playful little beagle pup with a curious nose and a heart full of adventure. I love toys (the squeakier, the better), get along great with other dogs, and firmly believe walks should be a team effort… which is why I sometimes carry my own leash. Efficiency is important to me. I’m mostly potty trained and doing really well, but I’m still a baby, so I’m looking for a patient human who understands that perfection takes practice. I’m crate-trained and do well settling down when it’s time to rest (after playtime, obviously).
