Potential adopters will receive detailed information on the disease and their role in completing the recovery process from OPH’s heartworm coordinator. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable. Charlie is a super sweet 10 year old pup. She loves smelling things on long walks, treats, and naps. She is quite energetic and people don’t often think she’s a senior dog! Surprisingly, for a part beagle, she is extremely quiet. She will only bark occasionally at thunderstorms. She’s super healthy and has no health issues. I’m moving to a different city and unfortunately have to give Charlie up, but she truly is the best girl in the whole wide world.
