I’m happiest when I get a chance to stretch my legs, run around the yard, and chase a ball, but once I’ve gotten my energy out, I’m more than happy to settle in and enjoy some downtime with my people. I’m a medium-energy girl who would love a home where I can safely run off leash in a fenced area each day. We’re working on teaching her that those are not acceptable ways to score a snack—and she’s catching on! Emily is also learning the joys of being a dog. Our resident pup is showing her what toys are and, more importantly, how much fun it is to play fetch! She is a quick learner and seems eager to figure things out. She does great in her crate overnight and while we’re away at work. She also understands that potty time happens outside, which is a great start! And food? Emily is definitely a chow hound! 😂 Her love of yummy treats should make training a whole lot easier. With some patience, consistency, and tasty rewards, this girl has so much potential.
