Beau is approximately 7yrs old. He came to us scared of the world but is learning that pets and human touch can be a good thing. He is still scared of any sudden movements and will run to his safe space. He is very shy and timid but is becoming braver every day. He will approach you for pets and treats. Oh, how he loves his treats, so much so he will seek them out on his own, so keep your counters clean. He has a playful and silly personality. Loves other dogs and likes to steal all the bones and take them to his bed. He likes to flip himself on the ground to rub his back. He rubs himself so hard that he moves himself across the yard. He will grab anything that is left out, including a magnifying glass, and take it back to his bed. He may just be a kleptomaniac.   Beau keeps his area clean. Has not had any recent accidents in the house. He is crate trained and enjoys hanging out in his crate. Beau requires someone who will be patient with him and continue to work on his confidence. He has 2 foster brothers. One small and one medium size. He loves other dogs and would do better with someone to play with and help him to continue to build his confidence. Someone who is not constantly in his face or likes to play too rough, likes his foster brother. He has not been around cats, however he shows a lot of interest in them during our walks. Beau is the sweetest boy, and we absolutely love him. Story

This is Fendi! She is eight years old and her main goals in life are to snuggle, eat food, and sniff fields. Unfortunately, after seven years of being in and out of the shelter, she developed fears of dogs, being alone, and strangers invading her personal space. Fendi needs an experienced dog owner who has trained dogs in the past or has the resources to help her be the happiest pup she can be. She's made great progress on medications and working with trainers but I know she would do so much better with an owner more up to the rewarding challenge of being her person. She has a great foundation: knows lots of tricks, wears her muzzle, and practices counter-conditioning with her triggers. If you have the passion for helping a dog who really needs it and you love snuggles on the couch, please reach out!
