Hey everyone this is Merle and he is 4 years as of this past September. He’s a super affectionate guy and all he wants to do is be loved on. He enjoys taking walks and really loves to watch you fish. He has been a great addition to our family. Unfortunately we have to rehome him due to the fact that we have a special needs child and can no longer give him the attention he deserves. It hurts us to have to rehome him, but we know in our hearts it’s what needs to be done so that he can fully enjoy the rest of his life. The best living option for him would to be able to have a large piece of land to roam or have a fenced in area. He’s used to sleeping outside recently but enjoys sleeping inside. It would be best for him to be in a crate overnight if sleeping inside. I just want someone who will love him and give him the time and affection he deserves.

Sparky is a Beagle/Jack Russell mix. He is cute and cuddly and full of energy. He loves playing with toys and chasing squirrels in the yard. He gets along great with kids and other pets. He is highly motivated by food and treats. He prefers exploring a fenced yard to walking on a leash. He also loves tcurling up on the couch and snuggling or sharing a blanket. Sparky is about 12 years old. My wife adopted Sparky about 7 years ago after our previous dog died. Sparky quickly bonded with us and became one of the family. He is a fun little guy and we really enjoyed his company. About one year ago, my wife died of cancer and since then I've been struggling to give Sparky the time and attention that he deserves.

His loving family—mom, dad, and a busy, affectionate two-year-old toddler—lost their home due to financial hardship. As they move in with relatives, Raymond isn’t allowed to go. Through no fault of his own, this sweet boy will be homeless starting Thanksgiving. Critter Cavalry stepped in to give him safety and a promise: we will find this special dog the family he deserves. And make no mistake—Raymond is pure family dog magic. He adored his toddler, patiently soaking up loud giggles, sticky hands, surprise hugs, and busy playtime. Viola is a beautiful soul that we think is about 3 year old and a Beagle mix girl. This black and white beauty with adorable speckled legs and a sweet She only weighs 20 lbs and has the sweetest smile and absolutely loves people. She was found as a stray that was taken to the shelter very scared and almost shutdown while there. Her human mother died and Viola is now 5 years old. Unfortunately we don’t really know her story, but we feel there is some trauma there in her past. It takes her a little bit to get used to people and even longer for dogs. She wants a safe place to observe (wire crate suggested) till she figures it out. Her foster kept her behind a gate and her bed was her safe place. For a few days she would growl through the gate at the other dogs but after that it was over. We would leave the gate open and she would venture out and if she got nervous she would go back to her safe place. She is never ugly to the other dogs at her foster and if one of the Chihuahuas was mean to her, she just ignored her. We have her using puppy pads because there is no fenced yard. Viola would definetly need a fenced yard so she can safely explore and have potty breaks. The outdoors makes her nervous still. She loves her people immensely and adores kids but older ones are best.
