Benny is a sweet boy who was found as a stray suffering from a sever ear infection that caused a head tilt. The infection has cleared up but Benny still tends to tilt his head when startled giving him that confused look. Which is so adorable on him. Benny loves all people and other dogs. He likes to do the play bow. He has learned what chew bones and toys are. Benny would love a home with a fenced in yard and another dog to play with. **Personality & Traits** Crate Trained: Does great in his crate House Training: Benny is working on this. He needs to be kept on a schedule and taken out when he is up and roaming. Outside he tends to forget why he was taken out. He sometimes gets distracted by his nose. On Leash: He walks like a normal Beagle from one side of the road to the other. The nose leads. Affectionate Companion: Benny loves to cuddle and will roll over and give you his belly for rubs. Food Motivated: Treats and meals are his favorite things. To the point he will help himself if he can. Lovey is the kind of puppy who reminds you what love is really about. Rescued just in time from a neglectful home where she wasn’t wanted, this beautiful Beagle mix girl arrived with sad eyes and a quiet plea for something better. Before we ever met her, we named her Lovey in honor of the Valentine season — and once she was safe, it became clear that her name couldn’t be more perfect. At just 9 weeks old and 7.5 pounds, Lovey is blossoming into the happiest, most affectionate little puppy. She adores people, loves to play, and fills her foster home with joy through all the classic puppy antics that make you laugh and fall in love daily. Her past is already fading as she embraces her new life with an open heart and a wagging tail. Lovey is bright, food-motivated, and eager to learn, which has made training a wonderful experience. She is crate trained, learning leash skills, and doing great with potty training both outdoors and on pee pads. She approaches every new lesson with enthusiasm, clearly wanting to please and connect with her people. Lovey is expected to grow into a 30–35 pound adult with a rich golden short coat and the sweetest, most expressive face. She will be a devoted companion whose heart belongs fully to her family — the kind of dog who wants to be close, loved, and included in everyday life. This Valentine season, Lovey is wishing for something simple and lasting: a family to love her forever.   Viola is a beautiful soul that we think is about 3 year old  and a Beagle mix girl. This black and white beauty with adorable speckled legs and a sweet She only weighs 20 lbs and has the sweetest smile and absolutely loves people. She was found as a stray that was taken to the shelter very scared and almost shutdown while there. Her human mother died and Viola is now 5 years old. Unfortunately we don’t really know her story, but we feel there is some trauma there in her past. It takes her a little bit to get used to people and even longer for dogs. She wants a safe place to observe (wire crate suggested)  till she figures it out. Her foster kept her behind a gate and her bed was her safe place. For a few days she would growl through the gate at the other dogs but after that it was over. We would leave the gate open and she would venture out and if she got nervous she would go back to her safe place. She is never ugly to the other dogs at her foster and  if one of the Chihuahuas was mean to her,  she just ignored her. We have her using puppy pads because there is  no fenced yard. Viola would definetly need a fenced yard so she can safely explore and have potty breaks. The outdoors makes her nervous still. We have had Scout since he was a puppy and he is now almost 10 years old. He is very loving with adults, but is not able to be around other pets or children. He has lived with two other dogs for most of his life, but gets occasionally territorial and reactive. He has done fine with our older smaller dog. Scout loves to cuddle, but needs to be in a house where he is the only pet/child. He would do fine with teenagers.
