Story
Meet Ozzy! Ozzy is a 3-year-old Beagle mix who is still learning that the world isn't such a scary place. He is a timid, nervous boy who may need some time—and possibly a few meet-and-greets—to feel comfortable and understand that he is safe. Once Ozzy starts getting some love, he slowly begins to soften and show you the sweet boy underneath that nervous exterior. He just needs someone willing to be patient, give him time, and let him come out of his shell at his own pace. Ozzy needs a home with children 12 years or older. We are unsure how he feels about cats, so very slow and patient introductions will be needed to make sure everyone is comfortable. We are also unsure about him with other dogs, and a dog test is required with any current dogs in the home. Ozzy is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. He may not be the dog who runs up and greets you right away—but if you're willing to give him the time he needs, you could be the person who shows Ozzy that he has nothing to be afraid of and that he is finally home. Ozzy is looking for a patient, understanding family who will let him learn to trust at his own pace. Could you be his safe place? Interested in adopting? Story
Meet Hambone! This handsome 2-year-old Beagle mix is looking for a special person—or couple—to call his own. Hambone is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. He is a loving, sweet boy who is incredibly smart and would make a wonderful loyal companion for the right home. Hambone needs to be the only animal in the home and is looking for a home without children. A quiet household with a single adopter or perhaps a couple with little traffic would be ideal for him. He would love having his people all to himself. He is house trained, crate trained, and easy on leash. Hambone loves going on walkies, playing fetch with sticks, and spending time with his favorite people. Just don't expect him to enjoy any water adventures—he's definitely not a fan! If you're looking for a smart, devoted, sweet companion who will be your loyal best friend, Hambone might just be your guy. Interested in adopting? Story
Rollie was surrendered after his owner died. He had never lived inside until he came into rescue. He is now house and crate trained. He does love to run and play and hide his bones outside. He had very little socialization with other dogs and is a little dog selective (prefers females more than males). He's more of a loner than most. He has always been crated inside to avoid the mischief a beagle tends to get into with chewing items he isn't supposed to be chewing. It is more for his safety of not swallowing anything harmful. He will bark to let you know when he needs to go potty. He has been completely vetted. He deserves a home of his own to retire in and enjoy the rest of his life. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Please email us for the link to the adoption application.

Story
Meet Theresa! ❤️ Theresa is a sweet 10-year-old Beagle girl who has found herself in rescue through no fault of her own. Her elderly owner passed away, and suddenly the only home she had ever known was gone. Theresa is good with dogs, good with cats, and is housetrained! She has a cute way of letting you know when she needs to go outside—she’ll simply pace the floor until you get the message! 🥰 Theresa came into rescue with her friend Winnie, who is also available for adoption. While they were surrendered together, they do not need to be adopted together. Theresa would be perfectly happy finding a loving family of her own. This sweet girl has a very low activity level and is happiest just hanging out with her people. She would love a home where she can relax, lounge around, and curl up with you on the couch while everyone watches TV in the evening. She isn't looking for an adventurous, high-energy lifestyle—she's looking for a soft bed, a peaceful home, and someone to love. ❤️ At 10 years old, Theresa is well beyond the puppy craziness and ready to settle into a loving family. If you're looking for a sweet, easygoing Beagle companion who would rather chill beside you than run a marathon, Theresa may be your girl. 🐾❤️ Theresa is ready for her next chapter—and she deserves a family who will love her for all the years ahead. She is heartworm negative, up to date on heartworm/flea prevention, vaccines, and will be microchipped. Theresa is being fostered in Mississippi but can be transported to you if you decide to adopt. If you are interested, please message us and we will be happy to send an adoption application to get the adoption process started! 💲 Adoption Fee: $450 The adoption fee includes: 🐶 Spay/neuter 💉 Vaccinations 🪱 Deworming ❤️ Current heartworm and flea prevention 📍 Microchip 🚚 Transport to a location near your through Rescue Riders LLC

Story
Meet Chip! Chip is an energetic guy who is always ready for his next adventure! He loves being outside and enjoys every opportunity to run, explore, and stay active. Chip would do best in a home with a fenced in backyard where he can stretch his legs, burn off energy, and enjoy the outdoors to the fullest. He loves taking in all the sights, sounds, and smells around him and is always eager to see what his nose will discover next. Whether he's exploring a new trial, going for long walks, or simply spending time outside with his people, Chip loves being on the move. He would love a family that enjoys adventures and enjoys the outdoors just as much as he does! Because Chip can become overstimulated at times, he would do best with a family that can help him stay focused and provide him with structure and outlets for his energy. Chip would do best in a home with older children who match his energy and understand his maturity level, and he would prefer a home without cats. If you're looking for an active companion to share your outdoor adventures with, Chip may be the perfect match for you! If you're interested in meeting Chip, Stop by the shelter today!
