Story
Looking for a goofball that thinks you're the bee's knees? A sweet girl that from time to time doesn't realize she's not exactly a lap-sized dog? A snuggle bug who will try to sneak as close to your bedroom or bed as you'll allow at night? Meet Izzy! Izzy is a very sweet girl and needs to be your one and only animal in the home. She lost her one owner, who was home around the clock, 5 months ago. She is dealing with the separation of having someone all the time to now myself who works 12 hour shifts. She isn't transitioning well to being alone so much and needs someone patient, kind, and won't leave her alone often until she's better situated. She isn't doing well with the other 2 dogs I have otherwise I'd keep this babygirl forever. She's very easy to love. She's goofy and energetic, quite fond of watching you dance in the kitchen, let's out a long deep groan if she's sleeping and you dare disturb her slumber, so cute! If you have patience and love then Izzy wants your hugs!

Story
Monroe is a 10-year-old small Beagle mix with a soft spirit and a story that deserves the gentlest of endings. He was found wandering the side of a road in Monroe County, West Virginia, lost, alone, and without anyone coming to look for him. A kind local rescued him, and after serving his stray hold in the county (where no owner ever came for him and no shelter space was available), Monroe made his way here, still hopeful for his second chance. Despite everything he’s been through, Monroe remains a quiet, sweet, and deeply endearing little soul. During his time in foster, he lived nicely with other dogs and did well in a crate. He asks for very little, just kindness, a soft place to rest, and someone to love him. Monroe doesn’t need a lot of excitement. He simply wants a warm bed, a gentle routine, and a person or family who will cherish him for the rest of his days. He’s the kind of dog who makes you slow down, breathe, and remember what love is supposed to feel like. Monroe has wandered long enough. He is ready to finally belong. 🏡❤️

Story
Say hello to Arnie, a 7-year-old Beagle mix with a heart as big as his floppy ears! This sweet, loving boy has the perfect balance of chill and adventure, he’s just as happy curling up beside you for a cozy nap as he is hitting the trail for a fun hike. Arnie gets along wonderfully with other dogs. He’s a gentle soul who fits right in. His easygoing personality and affectionate nature make him the kind of dog who can truly do it all. Arnie does seem bothered when people try to grab around or near his collar. We aren't sure what caused him to be so worried about this but, he clearly carries some anxiety about it, so he needs someone to give him time to adjust and get comfortable! If you’re looking for a loyal companion whose equal parts snuggle buddy and adventure pal, Arnie is your guy!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Sage is a truly lovely lady. Found as a stray, she previously lived in a busy home with toddlers, a baby, a cat, and two other dogs. Despite her age, she was always eager to roll and play, especially with the young female shepherd in the home. She still hops around like a puppy and loves to play—she’s just a bit of a noisy player! Crates and kennels aren’t her thing, and she becomes very distressed when confined. Because of this, she should be in a home where she doesn’t need to be crated. Or with a family that can help work work with crate training.  Sage adores toys, especially bones, and she is extremely food motivated. Most of all, she LOVES people. She’ll follow you everywhere, soaking up every bit of affection she can—her happy kisses never stop, and she thrives on attention and closeness. Sage is ready to find her forever family, one that will give her the love, comfort, and companionship she deserves for the rest of her life.
