Story
Angel is a very sweet, loving dog. She is around 4 months old and has gotten all of her shots other than the rabies vaccination . One of our family members had us watch the dog for them , and they never returned for her , and basically told us she is ours now. Which we already have a toddler , and another baby on the way so we dont want a dog added on to that . She is already potty trained , she goes right to the door when she has to go to the bathroom , and hasn’t had any accidents in the house . She loves bones to chew on , and lots of cuddles ! She is amazing around other dogs and kids . She is a beagle mixed dog , we don’t know what else she is breed with but we don’t think she should get much bigger, as her mom was very tiny . We don’t want anything for her , we just want to find her a good home with people who have time for her .

Story
We are putting Minion up for adoption because after a year it has become apparent that he cannot adjust to a home with a small child. Otherwise, he is a great dog. He is sweet, likes to cuddle, and loves napping in a sunny spot. He is a little over 10 years old but we don't know his exact age because he was adopted as an adult. His front left leg is a little weird shaped but he doesn't know that and he doesn't let it stop him from running and walking. He has spent the last 10 years living with cats and the last 5 years also living with a chiwinie, so he's fine with cats and female dogs of the same size or smaller. However, I don't think he'll do well with bigger dogs or male dogs. He has growed and snapped at our one year old child, so a home with young children is not a good idea. If you are interested, please contact me and I can tell you more. If you have space in your home, we would love to rehome him with our other dog (female chiwinie, 5 years old, very sweet).

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet little Bailey is about 20 pounds of senior dog presence, and she would dearly love to find a home. We have no background on her other than a little sketchiness on why she is at the shelter. We were told she had been left behind when someone moved out, (but she has been cared for in the meantime). She wanted to nip and bite when we first took her in, but we think that was partially due to her ravenous appetite, as she devoured the chicken nuggets fed to her with great gusto! She appears to be housetrained as she is keeping her kennel run spotlessly clean on the inside, and she seems very friendly so hopefully today we can spend a little more time with her and maybe convince her that lap time would be nice! Because you know, little dogs like this are perfect lap warmers for the cold winter days ahead! My guess is that she is probably 12 to 14 years old, but I can’t tell if she has been spayed because she does have some mammary development. However I don’t believe she has had puppies. She is a charming size, and we pray that she will let us be her best friends! She needs some medical attention as her toenails are overgrown, and may have a fungus on her feet. We will get more information as we learn from her. She’s at the shelter if you would like to visit. 12 to 5 weekdays, 11 to 4 Saturdays.     PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA.
