Story
Rambo & Siblings Rambo and his siblings were born in late October to a sweet mama who appears to be a Beagle–hound mix weighing about 25 pounds. At just three months old, these pups are already tipping the scales between 19–24 pounds, so we’re guessing dad was a bigger boy—but his breed remains a mystery. These puppies may be some of the softest you’ll ever touch, inside and out. They’re affectionate, gentle, and doing great with kids and other dogs, and they’re just beginning to learn about cats. Like all puppies, they’re fun, energetic, and full of curiosity, so they’ll do best with families who understand the time, patience, and love that puppy ownership requires. Their foster families are already working on crate training and potty training, giving them a great start toward becoming wonderful family dogs. Apply at: apsofpc.org under the Adopt tab Adoption fee: $300 The adoption fee includes: • Up-to-date vaccines • Puppy deworming • Microchip • Rescue discount for spay/neuter at our partner vet in Person County If you’re ready to add puppy love (and a little chaos!) to your life, Rambo and his siblings are ready to meet you. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Sage is a truly lovely lady. Found as a stray, she previously lived in a busy home with toddlers, a baby, a cat, and two other dogs. Despite her age, she was always eager to roll and play, especially with the young female shepherd in the home. She still hops around like a puppy and loves to play—she’s just a bit of a noisy player! Crates and kennels aren’t her thing, and she becomes very distressed when confined. Because of this, she should be in a home where she doesn’t need to be crated. Or with a family that can help work work with crate training.  Sage adores toys, especially bones, and she is extremely food motivated. Most of all, she LOVES people. She’ll follow you everywhere, soaking up every bit of affection she can—her happy kisses never stop, and she thrives on attention and closeness. Sage is ready to find her forever family, one that will give her the love, comfort, and companionship she deserves for the rest of her life. Story
Tigers Eye is a 2-year-old boy who is extremely shy and will need a calm, patient family willing to give him the time and space he needs to feel safe. He may take a while to open up, but with consistency and kindness, he has the potential to truly thrive. Tigers Eye is not neutered yet, so he is only available to Pittsylvania County or Danville City residents. He’s looking for a special home that understands that sometimes the quietest dogs just need the most love.
