Story
Emily is a four-year-old, 73-pound purebred German Shepherd that was surrendered to a shelter in South GA. She went to our rescue partner there and was great with everyone and all the dogs. She’s in our boarding now and is a favorite of all of the staff because she is sweet, calm, and quiet, and great in her kennel. Story
Busch is a five-year-old, 85-pound purebred German Shepherd that was picked up as a stray by the shelter (can you believe that?). His foster says that he is very sweet and playful. Loves attention and getting petted. He is well-behaved indoors with minor corrections for table surfing. Busch is housetrained. They’re working on bell training, and he seems to be responsive already. He enjoys going outside and walks well on a leash, but he sometimes pulls to go where he wants to go, so kids will not be able to walk him. Busch sleeps on the floor in their room all night and has been fine when crated for shorter periods when the fosters are gone. He met their cat and was curious enough to chase her. Rocky is a young German Shepherd - abouty 18 months old - who brings curiosity, drive, and heart to everything he does. We knew he was younger than his stated age when we put our hands on him at the shelter, but when he came to us, and his ears started to stand up, we realized that this boy is really just a baby! He’s eager to connect, loves to work, and is already showing us just how much potential he has. Rocky has graduated from our program, and is one smart boy! He needs someone who is dog savvy, and knows how to keep a smart young dog engaged, so that he doesn't come up with a job all by himself. :) If you’re looking for a bright, loyal companion with a big future ahead of him—Rocky might be the one you’ve been waiting for.
