Molly is a beautiful girl with the classic black and tan coat, tall erect ears, and striking features of a purebred German Shepherd. Her coat could use a good brushing, but even now, her beauty shines right through.
Molly's previous owners were moving and felt she had too much energy for their situation. She's sweet and sits nicely when asked, showing off manners that make her easy to connect with right away.
Molly is house trained and cat friendly, making her a great fit for a variety of households, especially active ones ready to match her energy with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation.
Molly is heartworm positive. If you live in Georgia, Cobb Animal Services will cover the entire cost of heartworm treatment if you adopt her. You simply need to bring her back for her scheduled treatment appointments and give the prescribed oral medication at home. Heartworms are not contagious between dogs. With proper treatment and care, heartworm-positive dogs can go on to live full, happy lives.
Molly urgently needs a home, and she has so much to offer the right family — beauty, sweetness, and plenty of energy for someone ready to keep up with her. She's ready to start her next chapter as soon as possible.

This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
