This handsome boy is Louie! He was surrendered to the shelter on 12/21, and he's hoping to find a new, forever home during the holiday season! The volunteers describe Louie as friendly and easy going. He knows how to sit nicely when asked, and he seems curious in a friendly way around other dogs. If you're looking for a more mature dog without the crazy puppy/young dog energy, Louie may be a good match! Louie is approximately 6 years old, and weighs 54 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet Louie in kennel 18; his ID # is 15840. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heart worm or combo test and a microchip.
