Story
King is a senior German Shepherd who is still full of life and enjoys being playful and active. He is a loyal, affectionate dog who loves attention and being around his people. King grew up around children, but he would do best in a calm home with mostly adult interaction where he can relax and receive plenty of love. He has done well with other dogs, especially smaller dogs. One of his sweetest quirks is that he loves stuffed animals and treats them like his “babies,” carrying them around. King enjoys walks and would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can play. King just had a vet visit, shots are up to date including rabies, negative heartworm test. King will come with his belongings including his stuffed animals, bed, food bowls, remaining dog food, etc.

Bronco — Loyal Gentle Giant Looking for the Right Home 🐾 Meet Bronco, a 6-year-old German Shepherd/Bullmastiff mix with a big heart and a loyal, devoted personality. This handsome boy absolutely loves people and enjoys being close to his humans. He’ll happily walk right by your side around the house and soak up all the attention he can get. Bronco is a smart, confident dog who enjoys walks, tasty treats (especially dehydrated sweet potatoes and pig ears!), and taking his time sniffing the world around him. He can pull a bit on leash and show a stubborn streak at times, but with consistent redirection he becomes an easy and enjoyable walking companion. He has previously lived with both dogs and cats, and he does well with cats. When meeting other dogs, Bronco may try to be the dominant personality. With proper introductions, structure, and the right canine companion, he has the potential to coexist successfully. Bronco is happiest in a calm, low-stress environment where he can bond closely with his people. He does well when left alone and respects the home environment. Because Bronco has shown some resource guarding with food and bones, his future family should be mindful of managing high-value items and providing structure around feeding and treats. His interactions with children are unknown, so a home with experienced handlers and thoughtful supervision around food or chews will help set him up for success. Harley is a 6-year-old German Shepherd/Red Heeler mix who has the whole package: calm, loyal, smart, and deeply devoted to her people. She is house-trained, crate-trained, knows her commands, and settles beautifully in the home. She enjoys her daily walks, her toys, and above all, being close to her humans. A true Velcro dog, she loves nothing more than quietly sticking by your side. Harley can be a bit reserved with men and loves to protect her human. When she is feeling unsure or scared, she may bark or growl out of fear, but with slow, positive introductions, she warms up wonderfully. In her foster home, she absolutely adores her foster dad and teenage foster brother, showing just how loving and loyal she becomes once she feels safe. She gets along with other dogs and is in foster with dogs of various sizes and personalities. She may show herding instincts, so a home with older children and no cats would be best for her.
