Story
We got Opie when he was 13 weeks old, he will be two in May. He is a gentle giant that has been raised around children. He is around 140 lbs of lap dog! He needs a home that can give him lots of room to run around. He loves to play with toys and cuddle. He gets along great with other dogs but has never been around cats. Although I think he would do great with them too. He would come with an extra large wire kennel that we put him in when we leave the house, his dog bed, toys, leash. Not asking for a rehoming fee because we just want him to go to a good home that will love him as much as we have.

Story
Coco is 7 years old. She was born on Thanksgiving.2018. (November 22nd). She is a sweetheart! She is very lovable and likes attention. At the same time she is pretty chill. She absolutely adores my grandkids and they adore her. Unfortunately, I have another dog that is small and they suddenly do not get along. She may or may not get along with another dog. This is the only time I have had an issue. She went to doggy daycare for the first year and a half. She played with a variety of dogs. She is a great watch dog. She will alert you if anyone is outside of the house. I just really want to find her the best home. She has been pretty spoiled. ❤️ I have a few bags of dog food I can include. Thanks so much!

Story
If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who brings energy and smiles wherever he goes, Major is ready to be your new best friend. At just 1 year old and around 74 pounds, this handsome Rottweiler is a big young guy with lots of growing, learning, and loving still ahead of him. Major would do best in a home with children older than 10 who can comfortably match his size and playful enthusiasm. Major would likely shine brightest as the one and only pup in the home, but our staff is happy to answer any questions and help determine if he`s the right fit for your family. His is active and playful—he absolutely loves balls and will happily chase, carry, and show them off any chance he gets. Major is still young and at that perfect age to keep building great manners and skills. He is wiggly, friendly, and full of joy.He cannot wait for a forever family who is ready for a large, playful young dog—full of activity, enrichment, and plenty of bonding time so he can thrive. Come meet this fun-loving boy today and see if he’s the perfect fit for your home!Major is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations, and ready for his forever home!

Story
Pet Location: Trinity is currently living in a foster home. If you’d like to schedule a time to meet her, please contact Wayside Adoptions at (816) 986-4426.My friends at Wayside say:- I am enrolled in LIFT University. This is a program for dogs to build confidence in new situations and work on managing energy. My adoption comes with a free 30-minute private training session. - My foster family said that I am crate-trained and mostly house-broken.- I have experience living successfully around cats in my foster home. - I’m a shy dog and need someone willing to be patient with me.- I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. Please visit our website for additional information. My home needs are:- I need a home with kids 10 years old and older since I tend to be nervous around new people and loud noises. - I must go to a home with another confident dog to help build my confidence.- I feel more comfortable around new people when I have a doggie friend to build my confidence. Wayside requires you to bring your dog with you when you come to meet me. - A fenced yard is a must for me! I do not know how to walk on a leash, so I need a secure area to go out for potty breaks.- For my safety, I need to go home on an anti-slip collar called a martingale collar. You can purchase one at our retail store, Whiskers and Wags.Hi there, I’m Trinity! I’m energetic, playful, super sweet, and so much fun. I’m shy and timid, too, until I get to know you, and it takes me extra time to grow comfortable and to learn to trust. Once we bond, I’ll be able to relax and live the life that was always meant for me. I’ve just had a lot of change and instability in my short life, that’s all, so these things take time. Still, if you’ll stay patient with me and simply give me a chance to shine, I’m the sort of dog who will quietly work my way right into your heart and never leave. I hope you find out that you need me in your life just as much as I need you.I’m an adorable, 1 1/2-year-old, 56-pound Rottweiler mix, with the cutest, expressive face and ears, soft fur, and an unassuming, mostly chill except when I’m playing, delightful personality. I’m equally happy to lounge on the couch or to quietly watch out the window as the world goes by or to joyfully run at full speed with other dogs. I’m even already crate trained and mostly housebroken, too, although please stay patient with me when I have acc
