Hi there, I’m Jethro, a big brown Doberman pinscher mix with an even bigger heart. I’m 12 years old, but don’t let that fool you—I still love my walks, exploring the neighborhood, and soaking up attention. I’m polite, well-mannered, and happiest when I’m with my best buddy, Drake. We’ve been together since we were just pups, and we’ve never known life without each other. I’m house trained, leash trained, and a pro traveler. Car rides used to be a big part of our lives, and I ride quietly like a gentleman. I’ll admit I can get worked up when I see other dogs, and I’ll bark and pull on the leash, but once I’m back with my person and Drake, I settle right in. Around humans, I’m calm, affectionate, and always ready for a treat. My human mom passed away earlier this year, and while I miss her deeply, I know Drake and I are ready to find someone new to love. What I really want is a safe, cozy home where we can stay together—because Drake is more than just my friend, he’s my brother. If you’ve been looking for a big, loyal gentleman who comes with his equally wonderful best friend, I think you might have just found us.

Story
I am sweet girl looking for a loving home to spend my golden years in. I love attention from my human friends but the way to my heart is through delicious treats. I get a pep in my step when I see my human friends or when it`s time to go outside, I just love spending time with my friends! I met some dogs here at Heartland and I was very interested in meeting them, I can come off a bit strong to shy dogs but I`m just excited to say hello. I like cats, a little too much, and should go to a home without any feline friends. If you have questions about me, please ask staff.
