Hey friend! My name is Theodore and I am super cuddly and sweet!One thing you should know about me right off the bat is that I am, what my friends like to call, a Tri-Pod. That is their silly way of saying I only have 3 legs. It does not slow me down one bit, and I am still down to go on adventures with you! I am one smart cookie and know lots of things! I know basic cues such as sit, down, paw (at least I'll TRY to give you my paw HAHA) stay and leave it. I love treats and positive reinforcement. You can use those things to teach me new things and become my best friend of course! I am high energy though and I can become easily frustrated if my energy and exercise needs are not met. I will need positive outlets and a calm environment to help me flourish.I have such a silly and outgoing personality. I love to cuddle and lay with my friends. I think I am a lap dog even though I am way too big for that now. I love playing with toys and can show you my favorite ones when we meet! (Hint: The ones that squeak sure get my attention!) I have a history of resource guarding my people, food, toys and/or bedding from other animals or people.I lived with another dog in my last home and have had lots of fun playing with larger dogs here at OHS. I am a big guy and have a rough and rowdy play style so I need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted. I also need a home without small dogs, cats or other small animals.Sometimes I don't know my own size and can bump into things, so I need to go to a home without small children. Older dog-savvy kids are okay though! Have I convinced you yet? If I have, I am part of the Diamond in the Ruff program, which you can learn more about here. I hope to see you soon! Story
Mickey is a great dog but I can no longer keep up with his needs. I got him about 5.5 years ago from a rescue and he has been a great companion despite some of his issues. To start with the good: he loves fetch- like more than anything in the world, he knows lots of tricks, loves finding treats and he is very loyal.Medically he has addisons disease and requires medicine nightly, and this comes with expensive tests a few times a year to ensure his dosage is correct and it has begun to get too expensive for me to manage.He isn’t bad with kids, just not gentle or very aware of himself, I have a 1 year old and he knocks her down pretty frequently and is not really interested in her at all. He is really high energy and it’s hard to manage that right now with work and a toddler. I feel bad he isn’t getting enough attention/ exercise and know he needs more. I really do love him and hope he can find a loving and caring home with a large yard to play. I can provide his crate, toys and bed.

Hello! This is Lycan a 6-year-old, purebred German Shepherd. He is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash without pulling. He is very gentle when taking treats from your hand. Lycan has a moderate energy level and usually needs about three days to warm up to new people, but once he trusts you, his incredibly friendly and loyal. He has experience being around cats, female dogs, and small children he is familiar with. Lycan is truly a wonderful dog, but unfortunately my work schedule has increased, and I no longer able to give him the life and attention he deserves.
