Story
Yasko is a loyal, protective dog who bonds deeply and does especially well with females. He’s leash-trained, completed agility training, and excelled at his obstacle courses. He enjoys walks, sometimes reactive to other dogs but improves with direction (NOT a golden retriever). He’s great with puppies and lives well with a Mini Schnauzer girlfriend, though he prefers female dogs and humans, can bond with a man who invests time in him. Yasko likes being indoors and relaxing most of the day he lays on his bed. He used to run seven miles but now prefers one-mile walks. He’s an excellent guard dog, alerting only to strangers. Up to date on vaccines and flea prevention. Protective of his tail but allows me to wash it through trust, the groomers go around his tail when they wash him, he also needs correction from chasing his tail. Due to family changes, I’m seeking the right home for him, someone patient, with time for him, who wants a devoted one-on-one companion to follow them around.

Story
Jax was the last puppy left in a an laundry basket at a local market the day before the fourth of july. His sister was next to him full of fire & excitement & Jax was laying down curled in a ball quietly waiting.When I picked him up, he rested his head on my shoulder & quietly gave me one gentle lick. He's smart, quick to learn, attentive to his owners feelings, loves being close to his "pack". He's never once hurt any children, he's self aware of his size. We've done plenty of training classes and done everything we understood on how to socialize him. He hates bath time & the water hose, but LOVES the lake, river or ocean. He will dig a hole in the sand on command, making the perfect puppy bed to snuggle in. He has great house manners. We can leave the house with meat on the counter in full trust. He's 3yrs, about 94-100lbs, loud bark and slobbery at times. Fav toys being ball, rope or a tough stuffy. We hope to find a family that understands his breed and has open space to run free.

Story
Hi my name is Riley. I was born 8/16 in Bend Or. I'm 9 years old. I was brought to Salem by my owner in 11/16 I'm definitely an indoor dog but I have a lot of energy so I need frequent walks and a yard. My wolf instincts tell me to dig as well as try to escape the yard, I love to sleep on the bed and couch right next to my family where it's warm. I'm not destructive at all. I'm a nosey dog who loves a window seat. I love to play fetch and chase because I don't retrieve. I'm trained but I'm not an off leash dog. I have allergies so no chicken. I'm 60/40 for dogs but I'm an alpha so I can be occasionally aggressive towards other dogs. With a slow introduction and patience I can be good with dogs and children. I'm nice to cats but I like to chase anything that runs. I'm a protector. I can get aggressive towards anything moving fast my way so keep me close by. Vehicles in the rain scare me sometimes so I bark and lunge. I'm a great dog and look forward to meeting you Let's have fun
