Story
Meet Luna! This sweet girl was surrendered to us recently with her housemate Coco. They would be able to go home together or separately. From what the previous owners told us they got along well in their previous home. Her owners took very good care of her and Coco and loved them very much. She knows a lot of commands and is housetrained. This should make her transition into a new home pretty seamless. She is a very sweet, gentle girl who would love to find a soft place to land as soon as possible. She is small for a Shepherd mix and has lived in an apartment previously, so she won't need a lot of space to feel comfortable. Luna would be open to meeting your current dog or your children as well. Come make this lovely girl your new companion today! *If you can see me, I'm still available! We prefer initial adoption steps to be done via email, this way we can answer any time of day. We also prefer an application submitted before scheduling a visit, but it's not required, an email conversation is great! If you don't have access to email, no worries. Please call 401 680 7591. We differ from other shelters by offering a one-on-one experience between you, our staff and the animal or animals you've chosen to become a new family member! Brutus's Story Brutus There’s no pre-heating needed to get this guy to warm up to you! Brutus has a sweet disposition and is friendly and affectionate with people right from the start. He’s easygoing, too – 30 minutes after we met him, he curled up and relaxed on the floor while the humans chatted around him. Rescued after being abandoned behind a restaurant, Brutus is estimated to be two to four years old. He is a good-size boy, weighing about 60 pounds, but is gentle and aware of his size. He takes well to being handled and groomed with a brush. Brutus walks nicely on leash and seems to be good around other dogs, showing interest and keeping calm. We’ll learn and share more as we get to know him better. Better yet, please reach out to us and come meet this sweet boy for yourself! Introducing Julia! Julia is a gorgeous 2-year-old shepherd mix with a sleek coat, graceful build, and soulful eyes that draw you right in. She carries herself with grace, almost like a little deer, and her tall, expressive ears show exactly what’s on her mind. Julia is gentle, sweet, and very loyal—just like a true shepherd, she chooses her person and sticks by their side through thick and thin. She’s pretty low energy and would be perfectly content with the occasional stroll, followed by plenty of cuddle time. Her affectionate, easygoing nature makes her a joy to be around. She does well with kids, cats, and other dogs, and she’s food-motivated, crate trained, and housebroken. Julia is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to devote all her love and loyalty to her forever family
